Third Lady

Third Lady is the title used for Imperial Wind Qing Yin, the kindhearted daughter of High Mountain City's Imperial Wind Clan. Biography

Rescue and discipleship

While leading an expedition through the Great Wilderness, Third Lady chose to investigate and rescue the weakened Ascendant Flying Snow despite Housekeeper Yun's suspicion of strangers. She ordered that he be brought aboard, questioned him with genuine curiosity about the Lower Realm, and ensured that he had a safe cabin in which to recover. Her consideration convinced Xue Ying that the kindness was sincere and gave him a safe base in High Mountain City. After his victory over Bat Mountain Master, Xue Ying credited both the rescue and the clan position that had let him study a useful scripture. When Qing Yin asked for instruction, he accepted her as his disciple specifically because he owed her this favor, transforming an impulsive act of mercy into a lasting teacher-student bond. Appearance and personality

Third Lady is introduced as a girl in light-blue clothing standing at the head of her clan's ship. She is repeatedly characterized as benevolent, curious, and attentive to another person's well-being; those qualities could leave her vulnerable to deception, which explains Housekeeper Yun's vigilance, but the stranger she rescued regarded her conduct as genuinely kind rather than naïve performance. Abilities and cultivation

Qing Yin follows the Imperial Wind Clan's bloodline cultivation rather than Xue Ying's original Dao system. She had not yet demonstrated a named combat technique in the title-scoped excerpts, and Xue Ying explicitly asked whether her bloodline was related to the Void before agreeing to guide her. Her latest established development is therefore acceptance as his disciple and access to his guidance, not a demonstrated advance or mastery of one of his techniques. (Chapter 1282)
