Imperial Wind Lei

Imperial Wind Lei is the Crown Prince and acknowledged successor of the Imperial Wind Clan. He helps govern High Mountain City during its conflict with the Devil Heart Cult and becomes an early institutional supporter of God Monarch Flying Snow after his younger sister recommends the newcomer. Biography

Defending High Mountain City

Imperial Wind Lei accepts Dong Bo Xue Ying, then known as God Monarch Flying Snow, as a clan cultivation mentor at Imperial Wind Qing Yin's request and arranges his residence. He reports the newcomer's defeat of three assassins, publicly welcomes him at a banquet, and argues that High Mountain City should resist the Devil Heart Cult. His confidence is tempered by concern for Qing Yin's proposed marriage and by the recognition that the clan arrays cannot answer every stronger enemy. (Chapters 1274–1285)

After Flying Snow kills the Devil Heart Cultist Master, Lei shares the clan's relief and later helps control its defensive arrays. Treasures that Qing Yin may have passed to him are inferred to have aided an Early Stage God Emperor, and by Chapter 1318 he is called a Middle Stage God Emperor; the exact breakthrough is not shown. Watching Flying Snow defeat threats beyond the clan's scale leads Lei to recognize how extraordinary Qing Yin's teacher truly is. (Chapters 1297–1321)

Appearance and personality

No stable physical description is preserved. When angered, his eyes flash with lightning while thunder and branching lightning snakes appear in the surrounding void. He is proud of his city, protective of his younger sister, hospitable to a useful ally, and increasingly cautious when enemies exceed the clan's defenses. (Chapters 1274–1282 and 1318–1321)

Abilities and cultivation

Lei's cultivation advances to Middle Stage God Emperor by Chapter 1318. His visible lightning phenomenon suggests a thunder-aligned power, but the text does not preserve a named attack, acquisition method, direct victory, or maximum range. He can help control the Imperial Wind residence arrays; even so, a sufficiently broad enemy technique could destroy the city and leave him unable to survive a follow-up strike.
