Celestial Water Hall Master
Celestial Water Hall Master is a Great Void Heaven Temple elder who watched Dong Bo Xue Ying rise through Celestial Water City. The Temple's catastrophic losses and its inability to rescue Xue Ying's wife left him despondent, but a secret encounter with the supposedly dead Xue Ying gave him reason to suspect that the balance might yet change. (Chapters 845 and 1104–1109)
Biography
Defeat, guilt, and a hidden survivor
After Sacred Master assaulted the Great Void Heaven Temple, Celestial Water lost faith in continued resistance. More than thirty percent of the core disciples died, captured Hall Masters were executed, and Yu Jing Qiu and other survivors remained imprisoned and tortured for the Destructive Realm Teleportation technique. Because Celestial Water had personally watched Xue Ying mature, the Temple's failure to protect Yu Jing Qiu felt both humiliating and personal; he withdrew from his disciples and drank in despair. A masked Xue Ying then placed both his true body and incarnation under an illusory realm so he could verify the losses without risking his hidden identity. Once released, Celestial Water immediately reported the encounter to Forefather Tian Yu. The visitor's questions, power, and knowledge persuaded him that there was roughly a seventy-percent chance Xue Ying truly lived, replacing certainty of defeat with cautious, confidential hope. (Chapters 1104–1106 and 1109)
Appearance and personality
Celestial Water Hall Master wears blue or dark-blue robes. He was once an engaged senior, but catastrophe made him decadent, isolated, and openly self-pitying. The underlying loyalty remained intact: Xue Ying's illusion confirmed that he was not a traitor, and his first sober action afterward was to warn Forefather Tian Yu of the mysterious intrusion. (Chapters 845 and 1104–1106)
Abilities and cultivation
Celestial Water is an eighth-level expert of the Laws Lineage with an unusually strong soul and will. He maintains an incarnation separate from his drinking body and can ordinarily teleport it, although Xue Ying secretly supplied the movement while controlling him. His will prevented Xue Ying from reading memories directly even after a Cosmos God–level Mirage and Illusory Realm took control; the attacker had to guide him into speaking instead. This establishes strong resistance for his rank but also its limit against a specialist whose soul technique had reached the Cosmos God realm. (Chapters 1104–1106)
