Dream Eater is Noah's dream-linked longsword, a pinnacle Level 4 artifact whose manifested power changes with its wielder.

History

Noah opens the achromatic world

Noah summons Dream Eater through a dimensional fissure while confronting BM. The sword alone retains its colour when Noah's ash-gray influence spreads across the battlefield, and it carries enough demonic aura to scar the terrain and parry BM's destructive beam. Noah initially dismisses the weapon when Wei Yan's death distracts him, then recalls it to break through BM's delaying action. (Chapters 77–78)

In Melissia's boss room, Noah raises Dream Eater against Yu Jitae and releases the seal that restrains a high-grade artifact's dormant output. The blade's center separates and extends into crimson eyes as Ignite leads into Synchronisation with Ny-ar-la's authority. The room then loses its colour and gives way to Noah's dream, making the sword the demonstrated catalyst for his full achromatic battlefield even though the exact division between the artifact and Noah's innate authority is not defined. (Chapter 80)

Taken by Jitae and lent to Clone 1

After killing Noah, Jitae takes Dream Eater and later lends it to Clone 1. When the clone ignites it against an SS+ monster in the Amazon, the weapon produces an achromatic alternate dimension on a scale of hundreds of metres and lets the clone overwhelm the target. Observers familiar with Dream Eater fail to recognize it because the revealed dream has a different shape under a different user, establishing that the sword expresses its wielder rather than reproducing Noah's dream unchanged. Yeorum's farewell weapon

Jitae keeps Dream Eater for years as a planned farewell gift for Yeorum. Its appearance immediately drains colour from the surroundings, and he gives it to supplement what she lacks before returning to Askalifa. Yeorum takes it with her, later uses it during the confrontation surrounding the Selection Ceremony, and plants it beside her youngest sister's grave after defeating her eldest sister. This is the sword's final confirmed custody before the timeline is revised; whether the physical artifact accompanies Yeorum into the new history is not stated. (Chapters 389, 391, 420–421)

Abilities and properties

• Dream Eater stands at the pinnacle of Level 4 artifacts and is treated as a national-level strategic weapon. (Chapters 77 and 389)
• Noah can summon it through a dimensional fissure. In its sealed appearance it resembles an ordinary sword, while Ignite separates and elongates its central metal into eye-like structures. (Chapters 77 and 80)
• Its activation colours the surrounding world achromatic. The form and contents of the resulting dream depend on the wielder: Noah's synchronization opens his personal dream authority, while Clone 1 manifests a visibly different gray alternate dimension. (Chapters 80 and 204–205)
• It accepts and amplifies different power sources, including Noah's demonic aura and Clone 1's mana. The precise compatibility requirement is not stated. (Chapters 78, 80, and 204–205)
• Average superhumans are unable to wield it safely; even a person capable of activating it risks eventually being swallowed by the sword. The nature and timing of that consumption are not explained. (Chapter 204)
• In Yeorum's hands it remains an exceptionally durable cutting weapon, parrying a red dragon's breath and surviving the Selection Ceremony without reported damage. No achromatic dream activation by Yeorum is shown. (Chapters 420–421)
