Biography

Privilege within the Black Sieve Sect

Zhao Shanhe is a Black Sieve Sect Conclave disciple whose position rests heavily on the Zhao Clan’s influence. His natural talent is described as ordinary, but clan elders repeatedly supply him with Foundation Establishment Pills until he forces a breakthrough and forms a Fractured Dao Pillar. The result gives him the status of a Foundation Establishment cultivator without removing the structural weakness created by that inferior foundation. He uses the power, resources, and protection of his family to prey on women with less institutional protection. (Chapter 150)

Plot against Xu Qing

Zhao pays Xie Jie so that sect disciples will report Xu Qing’s position within the Blessed Land. Xue Yuncui, who has her own history of mistreatment and jealousy toward Xu Qing, helps him isolate and restrain her. Zhao follows the reports while openly discussing his intended assault, confident that his clan and Conclave rank will shield him from consequences. (Chapters 147–150)

Defeat and death

After Xu Qing is restrained, Zhao encloses the area with a pink cloaking shield intended to hide what happens inside. Meng Hao arrives before Zhao can carry out the assault and breaks through the barrier. The confrontation exposes the difference between a Foundation Establishment realm forced through resources and Meng Hao’s Perfect Foundation: the pressure of Meng Hao’s cultivation shatters Zhao’s already flawed Dao Pillar. With his power destroyed and family status unable to protect him, Zhao pleads for his life but is killed by Meng Hao. (Chapters 150–151)

Appearance and personality

Zhao Shanhe is a handsome young man dressed in violet robes. His outward refinement contrasts with an entitled and predatory temperament. He treats clan privilege as permission to harm weaker disciples and mistakes institutional protection for personal strength. His confidence holds while he controls the setting and targets, but collapses immediately when Meng Hao’s superior foundation removes those advantages.

Abilities and cultivation

Early Foundation Establishment

Zhao reaches early Foundation Establishment only after clan elders provide him with numerous Foundation Establishment Pills. His resulting Dao Pillar is Fractured, the weakest type of Foundation described in this arc. It still places him above Qi Condensation cultivators, but contains a fundamental weakness: when confronted by the pressure of Meng Hao’s Perfect Foundation, the flawed pillar cannot withstand the difference in quality and shatters. (Chapters 150–151)

Wind manipulation

He can create and control gusts of wind with enough precision to harass or restrain a weaker target without immediately killing her. In practice he uses the technique for intimidation and abuse rather than open battle. The supplied scene does not show the wind overcoming another Foundation Establishment cultivator or operating after his Dao Pillar is broken. (Chapter 150)

Pink cloaking shield

Zhao deploys a pink barrier around an area roughly thirty meters across. It conceals activity within and is described as capable of withstanding powerful attacks from ordinary Foundation Establishment cultivators, making it both a privacy screen and a defensive measure. Meng Hao destroys it because his Perfect Foundation produces power outside the assumptions on which Zhao relies; the shield is formidable at Zhao’s level, not absolute. (Chapters 150–151)

Limits and dependence

Zhao’s abilities depend on external advantages: pills supplied by his clan, sect informants, an accomplice, and a prepared barrier. Once Meng Hao breaches that arrangement, Zhao has no demonstrated technique capable of compensating for the weakness of his Fractured Foundation.
