Wang Lihai
Wang Lihai is Wang Tengfei's elder brother and the Wang Clan's Foundation Establishment Dao Child. He survives the eighth Blood Immortal Legacy tournament and later represents his clan among the Southern Domain Chosen.
Biography
Wang Clan Dao Child
Wang Lihai leads the Wang Clan delegation to the eighth Blood Immortal Legacy contest with a Nascent Soul Dao Protector. He is already at late Foundation Establishment and close to Core Formation, giving him the cultivation and clan backing expected of a Dao Child. His status also places him above his younger brother Wang Tengfei in the immediate competition for clan prominence, though the brothers' paths remain entangled with the older Wang powers. (Chapter 119)
His Blood Divinity takes the form of a Xuanwu turtle, emphasizing defense and endurance. Wang Lihai clears the third matrix in the same group as Meng Hao and Song Jia, then enters the poison matrix with advance preparations intended to dispel its hazards. Even so, the matrix injures both cultivator and Divinity and slows him more than he expects. Watching Meng Hao progress faster unsettles him because it overturns the hierarchy implied by clan resources and Dao Child rank. (Chapters 124–128)
Inside the sixth matrix, Li Daoyi directs the possessed Li Clan Blood Slave against him. The creature swallows Wang Lihai's wounded Xuanwu, apparently removing both the Divinity and its master from the immediate contest. His disappearance creates the impression that a major Dao Child has been killed, but his later return proves that he survived the Legacy zone even though he lost the confrontation. The episode gives him endurance, not an unearned victory over Li Daoyi's ancient support. (Chapter 130)
Dao Geyser and Meng Hao's challenge
At the Dao Geyser, Wang Lihai gains enlightenment alongside the Southern Domain Chosen. When the Faceless Azure Hero challenges him, he accepts and prepares the Wang Clan's Vermillion Bird Three Fingers. One exchange is enough for him to recognize the disparity and concede rather than spend lives defending his pride. He also identifies the challenger as Meng Hao and promises that the Wang Clan will prevent Black Lands interference, then witnesses Meng Hao's breakthrough. (Chapters 264–268)
The concession reveals a more measured kind of pride than that of Chosen who must be broken before yielding. Wang Lihai values his status and techniques, but can revise his assessment when direct evidence proves the opponent stronger. He later advances into Choumen Tai's corpse with the other great-clan cultivators, participating in the dangerous mental realm and its collapse without becoming the central winner of its Immortal opportunity. (Chapters 296–309)
Later cultivation journey
Wang Lihai joins the South Heaven expedition into the Primordial Demon Immortal Plane. He competes through the First Plane and subsequent transitions as one member of a broad group of Chosen, carrying Wang Clan experience into an environment whose rules are older and less controllable than their sect rivalries. (Chapters 565–566, 594 and 610)
In the later plane, the Greater Demon's illusion catches Wang Lihai along with the other cultivators. Meng Hao's attack briefly restores clarity, showing that Dao Child willpower and Foundation Establishment-era reputation do not by themselves resist the ancient being's mental control. His last supplied appearances leave him as a surviving participant rather than assigning him a decisive later victory or stated final realm. (Chapter 617)
Appearance and personality
Wang Lihai wears white and closely resembles Wang Tengfei, though he appears older and carries the more settled bearing of the clan's Dao Child. During the Blood Immortal matrices, strain becomes visible as poison wounds him and his Xuanwu, contrasting the polished entrance of a great-clan heir with the contest's actual danger. (Chapters 119 and 124–130)
He is calm, proud, observant, and more pragmatic than his rank initially suggests. Meng Hao's speed through the poison matrix unsettles him, but at the Dao Geyser he responds to the same man's superior force with recognition and concession. He does not need to deny the result to preserve dignity, which distinguishes competitive confidence from suicidal arrogance. (Chapters 124–130 and 264–268)
Abilities and cultivation
Foundation Establishment cultivation
Wang Lihai enters the Legacy contest at late Foundation Establishment and near Core Formation, with battle standing appropriate to a great-clan Dao Child. The supplied text does not reliably state his final later realm, so this page does not infer one from his continued survival. (Chapter 119)
Xuanwu Blood Divinity
His turtle-shaped Blood Divinity accompanies him through the Legacy matrices and emphasizes defense. It can be wounded and swallowed by the possessed Li Clan Blood Slave, proving it is a powerful partner rather than an indestructible guardian. (Chapters 124–130)
Poison preparation
He carries methods or resources intended to dispel the fourth matrix's poison. They let him continue but do not neutralize the trial completely, and Meng Hao's own poison-related advantages produce faster progress. (Chapters 125–128)
Vermillion Bird Three Fingers
Wang Lihai prepares this Wang Clan offensive art against the Faceless Azure Hero. He concedes after the initial comparison before fully committing the sequence, so the encounter establishes access to the technique without supplying evidence that it could overcome Meng Hao. (Chapters 264–268)
Dao comprehension
The Dao Geyser grants him enlightenment and places him among the Southern Domain's leading young cultivators. Such insight strengthens his path but does not protect him from the Greater Demon's later illusion. (Chapters 264–268 and 617)
