Milky Way Roc is the sole fish to survive the blackness leaking from Da Nu’s sealed coffin. It transforms into an enormous dying roc seeking rebirth, leaves a fish corpse within the Rebirth Cave, and later manifests a woman’s voice to repay Meng Hao’s accidental aid.

Biography

Birth from the coffin’s blackness

When the Milky Way coffin opens three inches, blackness spreads through a school of one hundred fish. Ninety-nine are reduced to bones. The survivor turns pitch black, grows two enormous tentacles, rises from the sea, and expands into a roc nearly three hundred thousand meters long. Its life force is already weak and death aura surrounds it, so its first spoken desire is “Rebirth.” It begins a half-year flight toward the Southern Domain’s Rebirth Cave. (Chapter 104)

The Roc’s path intersects Meng Hao and Chu Yuyan. Winds from its wings sweep them away from their battle, and its reaction to the Flying Rain-Dragon Core’s aura helps deposit them within the abyss connected to the Rebirth Cave. That encounter loosens part of the Roc’s seal or path and creates the Karma it later acknowledges. (Chapters 110–112)

Fish corpse in the Rebirth Cave

After the World Tree events, a hand-sized fish corpse lies deep in the Rebirth Cave with underworldly fire burning in its empty eyes. An ancient will associated with the cave confronts the sovereign discarnate power beneath the Black Sieve Sect and threatens to abandon rebirth and slaughter the opposing souls if they interfere with a child of destiny. The supplied chapter connects the awakening fish corpse to this wider confrontation but leaves the exact division between the Roc’s voice and other Rebirth Cave powers partly mysterious. Repaying Karma

When Meng Hao flees toward the Rebirth Cave in Chapter 313, a woman’s sigh injures Nascent Soul and Spirit Severing pursuers across the basin. The Tenth Wang Clan Patriarch recognizes the speaker as an Immortal. She explains that Meng Hao once loosened her seal and that the earlier sowing of Karma will now be reaped.

A white fish scale that is simultaneously a roc feather brands itself onto Meng Hao’s forehead. It stabilizes his collapsing Core Formation cultivation, heals roughly one fifth of his wounds, returns some longevity, and lends him the Roc’s speed so he can escape the blockade. Meng Hao identifies the woman as the ancient Roc. The aid settles that specific debt; she then tells him he is on his own. Later ripples from the Rebirth Cave react to the Eyeless Celestial Larva, showing that ancient powers there remain aware of his Karma, though no further direct Roc manifestation is confirmed. Appearance and personality

Its forms include a palm-sized black fish, a colossal roc, a corpse with burning eye sockets, and an unseen Immortal woman. The Roc is ancient, tired, and remote, yet exacting about Karma. It neither adopts Meng Hao nor offers unlimited protection: one accidental release earns one rescue, after which responsibility returns to him.

Fish-to-Roc transformation

The coffin’s blackness transforms the surviving fish into a bird hundreds of thousands of meters long. The form crosses vast distances and generates world-shaking winds. Its weak life force and death aura show that size does not mean health; the transformation is part of a desperate search for rebirth.

Immortal pressure

A single sigh sends Nascent Soul cultivators tumbling with blood loss and severely injures observing Spirit Severing patriarchs. The power operates over the Rebirth Cave basin without a visible body. Recognition by the Wang patriarch confirms Immortal-level aura, but the source does not give a precise Immortal subrealm.

Scale-feather restoration

The scale and feather are one transformed mark carrying warm power. It stabilizes a burning cultivation base, restores it to early Core Formation, heals twenty percent of physical injuries, and replenishes limited longevity. It does not fully heal Meng Hao, reverse his white hair, or make the rescue permanent.

Roc propulsion

The borrowed power pushes Meng Hao forward like a shooting star and lets him cross the gathered blockade before pursuers recover. It is temporary transport supplied by the mark, not a flight art Meng Hao retains indefinitely.
