Blood Demon Lord

Blood Demon Lord is the immense blood-red power who repeatedly intervenes at crucial moments in Meng Hao’s path.

Biography

Ancient watcher

The Blood Demon Lord's first interventions precede Meng Hao's understanding of who is protecting him. A blood-red figure connected to the ancient Reliance Sect appears when Lord Revelation's enormous palm descends and cuts the attack apart with a red slash. Much later, from the Blood Demon Sect's half-withered tree, the same ancient awareness observes Meng Hao form four Perfect Dao Pillars and concludes that the earlier assistance was worthwhile. He calls Li Shiqi “Yu'er” and withdraws the instant the Meat Jelly nearly detects him, revealing both intimate knowledge of old lives and caution before entities whose histories extend beyond the present era. (Chapters 34–175)

Meng Hao as Blood Prince

When Meng Hao assaults the Black Sieve Sect to save Xu Qing, Patriarch Blood Demon blocks outside interference and personally overpowers Six-Daos. He carries Meng Hao and Xu Qing to Mount Blood Demon, preserves Xu Qing for ninety-nine years before her reincarnation, and names Meng Hao Blood Prince. His support is not conditional on obedience to the sect's existing hierarchy. He grants Meng Hao authority to kill even Spirit Severing patriarchs who oppose him and watches as Meng Hao remakes the Blood Demon Sect through force. (Chapters 697–710)

The central inheritance is the Blood Demon Grand Magic, a six-level taboo art divided into three strata. Patriarch Blood Demon gives Meng Hao the complete lifeblood legacy, something earlier Blood Princes received only orally, and promises further good fortune as he reaches higher levels. The technique absorbs an opponent's qi, blood, and cultivation, converting them into the user's power; each stratum expands the scale of what can be drained. Blood Demon deliberately withholds easy instruction because the art's growth is connected to accepting and then severing Devilishness. He also links its deeper reward to Meng Hao's identity as a Demon Sealer. (Chapters 703–711, 730)

Southern Domain war

During the coalition attack on the Blood Demon Sect, the figure known publicly as Patriarch Blood Demon is revealed to be an incarnation. His cold snort can turn the sky crimson and the land into a sea of blood, stopping multiple Dao Seeking experts at once. As the defense reaches its crisis, he merges with the colossal Demon body buried beneath Mount Blood Demon. The true form supplies the sect's ancient Dao Reserve and turns the mountain itself into the center of his power. His purpose is not merely to win territory: he protects Meng Hao long enough for the younger cultivator to master the inheritance and determine the war's outcome. (Chapters 732–736, 738–748)

The relationship persists beyond the Southern Domain. During Meng Hao's unprecedented Immortal Ascension, Blood Demon projects his influence across the Ninth Mountain and Sea and supplies power associated with one of Meng Hao's Immortal meridians. The act confirms that his earlier interventions were part of a sustained investment in the Ninth Demon Sealer rather than isolated favors. (Chapters 975–976)

Appearance and personality

He commonly manifests as an indistinct blood-red figure with a husky, ancient voice or as an armored Patriarch. Beneath Mount Blood Demon lies his vastly larger true Demon body, making the human-scale incarnation only the accessible face of the sect's Dao Reserve.

Blood Demon is calculating, patient, and aggressively protective once he chooses an heir. He permits Meng Hao to confront the sect's internal opposition without rescue because the conflict is part of the inheritance, yet intervenes instantly against forces that would end Meng Hao's path prematurely. He avoids explaining his deepest motives, especially his connection to the Demon Sealers, and treats centuries of preparation as a natural price for the result he wants.

Abilities and cultivation

Blood Demon Grand Magic

His signature six-level legacy drains qi, blood, and cultivation through a blood vortex. At the Spirit Vessels stratum the stolen cultivation can be transformed directly into the user's battle power; higher levels allow Meng Hao to contend across realm boundaries. The art's progress depends on Devilish experience as well as technical cultivation. (Chapters 704, 709–711, 730)

Blood-domain manifestation

Blood Demon's arrival can dye the sky crimson and turn the land into a sea of blood. Within that domain, his pressure halts several Dao Seeking experts and strengthens his ability to shield chosen targets. (Chapter 732)

Remote projection

He sends incarnations, perception, and attacks across enormous distances. The early red slash that severs Lord Revelation's palm and the later contribution to Meng Hao's Immortal Ascension show that his effective reach is not confined to Mount Blood Demon. (Chapters 34, 975–976)

Life-force seals

He forms a golden magical symbol from his own life essence. The symbol carries enormous vitality and is part of the protection and instruction he gives Meng Hao, but using it visibly ages and withers the incarnation. (Chapter 703)

Colossal Demon body

The Blood Demon Sect's ultimate reserve is his immense body beneath the mountain. The armored patriarch can awaken and merge with that body, converting the sect's sacred ground into the locus of a far greater ancient Demon. (Chapters 702, 742–748)

Soul and reincarnation intervention

He preserves Xu Qing's remaining time and sets the terms under which she can endure for ninety-nine years before reincarnation. This is a limited rescue shaped by the condition of her soul, not unrestricted resurrection. (Chapters 702–704)
