Palludia Gren Ehuir
Palludia Gren Ehuir, usually called Ludia, is the crown princess of the Ehuir Empire, a priestess of Mitarus, and a member of Revival. Her story moves from the confidence of a gifted young explorer to the trauma of losing the Luka continent, then toward a new life in which she develops an Earth ability, resumes fighting as a healer, and chooses a future with Kang Shin. (Chapters 4, 110–140, 202, and 352)
Biography
Awakening and the First Dungeon
Palludia first meets Shin as a proud young explorer in an Orc Lord raid. She openly resents placing an unfamiliar, orc-like boy in the party and contests his fitness to lead, but accepts the party's judgment after his ability becomes clear. Her own position is already specialized: as the priestess, she keeps the front line alive with repeated healing. Pride also makes her reckless, however, and when she charges the Orc Lord in anger, Shin has to pull her out of its attack. The rescue does not end their quarrels, but it establishes the mixture of rivalry, reliance, and reluctant respect that shapes their early relationship. (Chapters 4–6)
Her status outside the dungeon is much larger than Shin initially understands. Palludia is the Ehuir Empire's crown princess and is regarded on the Luka continent as a representative and symbol of hope, while her dungeon class connects her to the god Mitarus. Those expectations help explain both her imperious manner and the urgency with which she climbs: she is not adventuring only for private achievement. She advances far faster than Shin during his long stay on the fifth floor and continues contacting him out of concern even when he neglects her messages for years. Rather than sever the friendship, she eventually gives him a firm deadline to reach the twenty-fifth floor and rejoin her party. (Chapters 10, 13, 17, 21, 26, and 43–50)
Four years after their first raid, Palludia has grown from a child under 140 centimeters into a young woman around 170 centimeters tall, while her skill and judgment have matured with her. She respects Shin's raid leadership during the Giant Ghoul battle and performs strongly enough for him to praise her healing, although she still masks embarrassment and affection with sharp words. In her Residential Area home, she asks him to use the intimate nickname “Ludia” and confides that a revelation has identified him as her fated partner. Shin refuses to treat fate as an entitlement to marriage, which relieves rather than alienates her: their bond becomes a chosen friendship with romantic hope, not a command either must obey. (Chapters 54–57 and 71)
Field Dungeons and Revival
The death of Luka's Hero destroys the security behind Palludia's royal position. With the Demon Lord's forces overrunning the continent, she escapes into the dungeon with Shuna but is tormented by the belief that flight means abandoning her parents, sister, and people. She contacts Shin because she has run out of people she can trust, runs directly into his arms when he arrives, and asks him to decide what she should do. Shin instead insists that the choice remains hers while promising that he does not want her to die. Palludia chooses to remain involved in the rescue, still pulled between royal responsibility and terror that her world is already lost. (Chapters 110–115)
The rescue reveals that this fear is justified. Surviving Ehuir knights attempt to seize Palludia for the Demon Lord, while her younger sister Shina has joined the enemy. Shin kills Shina during the escape and returns with her body. Palludia's grief erupts against him, but the collapse of every other support leaves her afraid that he too will disappear; she clings to the person who killed her sister because he is also the person who came back for her. After ordering the loyal Bellode to abandon the fallen continent, she gives up her party leadership, accepts Shin's invitation to Earth, and leaves her royal life behind. The Demon Lord's voice alone still makes her shake, showing that escape preserves her life without ending the trauma. (Chapter 122)
On Earth, Palludia is initially unable to tolerate separation from Shin. She sleeps in his room, holds his hand through the night, follows him through the house, and panics when ordinary conversation evokes the family she lost. Shin's family gives her a home, and Shuna remains a stabilizing friend, but Palludia's recovery is uneven: she can learn household customs and resume dungeon activity while still interpreting Shin's unexplained absence as abandonment. Her awakened power over earth gives her a new source of competence at precisely this low point. It does not erase her grief, but it lets her act rather than remain only someone being protected. (Chapters 123–125 and 140)
Palludia joins the emerging Revival group because its model of mutual support answers her experience of a Hero-centered world collapsing. She stands with Shin when he rejects Ciara Kenex's proposal to organize everyone around preserving him, then fights beside Hwaya and Ye-Eun in the American wyvern crisis. Her strengthened defensive and healing magic protects their party, and her buff gives Shin enough power to contest the Flame Drake. By the end of this phase, she remains emotionally dependent on him, but she has also recovered a public role as a combat healer whose actions are necessary to other people's survival. (Chapters 128 and 131–140)
Guardians and World Enemies
Palludia's place in Revival becomes institutional rather than provisional. She and Shuna reach Gold rank, and Palludia serves as one of the guild's principal healers during campaigns too dangerous for ordinary support teams. She maintains a reserve of more than twenty Elixirs during the Philippine operation, restores Sumire and Walker after severe injuries, and hands Shin emergency doses even while objecting to his risks. Shin sometimes orders her to remain at the mansion because a healer who enters every decisive battle may leave the rest of the guild without recovery. Palludia dislikes being excluded, yet accepts that protecting the larger force can matter more than staying physically beside him. (Chapters 197, 202, 224, and 227)
Her domestic life shows a parallel recovery. By the time Shin returns from Edias, Palludia can argue with him while vacuuming in her priestess robe and can discuss the fall of Luka without collapsing. She tells him directly that she loved him before the catastrophe and that this feeling contributed to her desperate attachment, but releases him from any promise to care for her forever. Her decision to continue loving and pursuing him without demanding an answer restores agency to a relationship once warped by grief and “fate.” Later, when Ilayda substitutes for her on another mission, Palludia accepts the division of work instead of trying to exchange places, a change Shin explicitly recognizes as improvement. (Chapters 241 and 255)
Her healing also becomes part of Revival's ability to survive a worldwide campaign. Palludia works with Ilayda Van and Elixirs to restore members who lose limbs, treats possible curse traces on Shin's mother, and resumes contact with old Edias companion Paul Von Cravis without forcing him to describe what happened to Ellos. These scenes do not suggest that she has forgotten Luka: mention of the Demon Lord can still unsettle her. They instead show learned control, empathy, and professional responsibility continuing alongside a wound that remains real. (Chapters 261, 278–284, and 296)
Final Wave and the Dungeon's End
As the conflict approaches its end, Palludia's royal and otherworldly background gives her a perspective distinct from most of Revival. She understands why a Hero can become a public object of worship and regards the reverence directed at Shin as less surprising than his Earth-born companions do. At the same time, she is preparing to confront the power that stole Luka rather than merely seeking shelter on Earth. Her acceptance of Shin's public role is therefore practical, not passive submission to Ciara's ideology: Palludia continues to work as his comrade and critic instead of treating the Hero's life as more valuable than everyone else's. (Chapters 316, 333, and 337)
During the final wave, Palludia and Ilayda keep every Revival member alive while civilian losses mount around them. The result earns resentment from outsiders, but it also proves the value of the healing role Palludia rebuilt after losing her world. Exhausted after a combat shift, she still seeks Shin out, checks his condition with her own power, and returns to the wider crisis once satisfied he is unhurt. She later gathers with almost all of Revival outside the Demon Lord's dungeon, but Shin selects only Yungoong, Ye-Eun, and Sumire to accompany him inside. Palludia therefore supports the final mobilization without directly confronting the figure whose voice once reduced her to trembling. (Chapters 341 and 343)
After Sherafina's defeat and the cleanup of the final wave, Palludia marries Shin on Earth. She has no surviving parents among the wedding guests, but she approaches the ceremony as someone making plans rather than mourning a closed future. Her earth control has advanced enough to hide underground without Shin detecting her, and she intends to begin restoring the Luka continent by transmitting back the land brought to Earth. Her final position thus joins her old and new identities: she remains an Ehuir princess responsible for her homeland, a powerful member of Revival, and a wife whose relationship with Shin is now explicitly chosen. (Chapter 352)
Appearance and personality
Palludia is introduced as a child under 140 centimeters, then undergoes the Luka continent's characteristic growth spurt and reaches about 170 centimeters by her reunion with Shin four years later. She is repeatedly described as exceptionally beautiful, with blue eyes, a slender build, and later explicitly blonde hair. Her clothing reflects her changing settings: she wears a priestess uniform in the dungeon, a light-blue dress and perfume when receiving Shin at her home, white dresses while living with his family, and a white priestess robe during her work with Revival. (Chapters 4, 54, 71, 122–125, 170, and 241)
She is proud, sharp-tongued, competitive, and quick to hide vulnerability behind anger or a dismissive snort. Early on, those traits produce impulsive decisions and make honest affection difficult for her to express. The loss of Luka temporarily replaces that confidence with acute fear of abandonment and dependence on Shin. Her later development does not turn her into a different personality: she continues teasing, striking, and scolding him, but becomes more willing to state what she feels, accept assignments away from him, consider other people's grief, and act under reminders of the Demon Lord. (Chapters 6, 54–71, 122–140, 241, 255, and 278–284)
Powers and abilities
Palludia combines a dungeon-granted priestess class with an ability awakened after she comes to Earth. Holy magic makes her a specialist in healing, support, and fighting undead; the Earth ability adds terrain control, attack, defense, and a further source of healing and enhancement. The two systems reinforce one another, but the corpus treats them as distinct acquisitions rather than one unexplained power. (Chapters 5–6, 54–57, 125, 131, and 205)
Priestess of Mitarus
As a priestess of Mitarus, Palludia activates holy magic through prayers and chants. Her early role is direct recovery: she repeatedly heals a tank through the Orc Lord's attacks and later restores wounded party members during dungeon raids. Against the Giant Ghoul, her invocation of Mitarus both heals allies and restores their stamina while its holy quality weakens the undead enemy. This makes her more than a passive medic; in favorable matchups, the same divine power sustains her party and attacks the creature they are fighting. (Chapters 5–6 and 54–57)
The class develops through continued dungeon climbing and her Earth awakening. By the wyvern campaign, Shin describes her as possessing overwhelming defense and healing because the earth's power strengthens her holy magic, and by Chapter 202 she is a Gold-rank explorer. She can apply buffs strong enough to change whether Shin can overcome the Flame Drake, perform rapid battlefield healing, and work in concert with another healer. Her practice also includes conserving herself and supplies for the group rather than following the strongest fighter into every battle. (Chapters 131–140, 202, 224–227, and 255–261)
Earth awakening
After arriving on Earth, Palludia experiences the awakening process even though she was born in another world. She describes the resulting ability as animistic or based in belief in nature: by calling “O Earth,” she can control earth and draw on its power. Its first demonstration makes the floor itself move Shin toward her. Later uses establish far greater combat utility, but the corpus does not specify why Earth granted the ability to an outsider or reduce its operation to a dungeon skill, so its exact metaphysical mechanism remains unresolved. (Chapter 125)
The ability lets Palludia raise needle-like rocks as projectiles, transmute them into an earthen shield, move through or hide beneath the ground, and strengthen her attack, defense, buffs, and healing. During the basilisk raid she claims that earth's power can neutralize petrification, then cures Sumire after the basilisk's breath begins turning her shield and arms to stone. By the wedding she can emerge from the ground and conceal herself while Shin suppresses his wider perception. Her latest use also serves reconstruction: she plans to return displaced Luka land from Earth to its original world. (Chapters 125, 170, 205, and 352)
Healing practice and limitations
Palludia supports her magic with practical triage and consumable Elixirs. She gathers a large stock when Event Dungeons proliferate, gives them to endangered teammates, and combines them with magical treatment; one Elixir she supplies completely closes Shin's otherwise catastrophic abdominal wound. Alongside Ilayda, she can restore severed limbs when Elixirs are also available. These outcomes should not be attributed to Palludia's intrinsic magic alone: the text explicitly presents the potions and cooperation as parts of the treatment. (Chapters 197, 224–227, and 261)
Her healing is powerful but not universal. Shin does not expect it to restore Ciara's sight and voice after every Earth healer has failed, and Palludia's successful cure of basilisk petrification does not establish that she can remove all curses or supernatural disabilities. She nevertheless treats suspected curse residue on Shin's mother and, during the final wave, works with Ilayda to prevent any Revival deaths. Her latest demonstrated mastery is therefore exceptional large-scale support with specialist cures, not unrestricted reversal of every injury or condition. (Chapters 264, 296, and 341)
Mana training and physical growth
As an imperial princess and veteran explorer, Palludia learned an advanced mana-breathing and cultivation method before Revival began sharing Peruta Circuit. Shin judges that replacing such an established method could do more harm than good, so her power development remains rooted in her own training rather than adopting his circuit. Her physical capability rises alongside her magic: by Chapter 352, she is strong enough to drag Licorice and Daisy away even though neither is resisting with full strength. The source demonstrates that growth but does not assign it a separate named technique. (Chapters 279 and 352)
Power progression

Relationships
- Kang Shin: Palludia begins as Shin's argumentative raid partner, grows attached while they climb separately, and entrusts him with the revelation that he may be her fated partner. After Luka falls, she depends on him for safety even after he kills Shina, then slowly turns that traumatic dependence into a relationship she pursues by choice. They marry after the final wave. (Chapters 4–6, 50–71, 110–140, 241, and 352)
- Shina Gren Ehuir: Shina is Palludia's younger sister and one of the people she remains on Luka to save. Learning that Shina joined the Demon Lord and was killed by Shin devastates Palludia, and the loss remains central to her survivor's guilt even after she builds a new life on Earth. (Chapters 110–125)
- Shuna Aren Lihita: Shuna is Palludia's close companion, tank, and fellow refugee. She understands Palludia's feelings for Shin before he does, escapes Luka with her, helps her resume dungeon activity on Earth, and reaches Gold rank beside her. (Chapters 54–57, 110–125, and 202)
- Hwaya Eleni Mastiford: Hwaya becomes Palludia's Revival teammate, romantic rival, and frequent verbal sparring partner. Their arguments coexist with reliable battlefield cooperation, including the wyvern campaign and the final-wave shifts in which both return exhausted but alive. (Chapters 128–140, 224, 335, and 341)
- Ilayda Van: Ilayda shares Revival's healing burden with Palludia. Palludia accepts her as a substitute priestess on a separate mission, works with her and Elixirs to restore lost limbs, and helps her keep the guild alive during the final wave. (Chapters 255, 261, and 341)
- Paul Von Cravis: Paul is an old Edias raid companion who recognizes Palludia after coming to Earth. She understands that his presence implies something painful about Ellos, but chooses a considerate greeting rather than demanding an explanation, showing the maturity gained since their early raids. (Chapters 4–6 and 278)
- Ciara Kenex: Palludia rejects Ciara's attempt to place everyone beneath a system centered on preserving Shin. Although she later shares Ciara's familiarity with public reverence for a Hero, she remains committed to Revival's reciprocal cooperation rather than Ciara's hierarchy. (Chapters 128, 264, and 337)
Items
Palludia routinely carries ordinary Elixirs as a healer's emergency reserve and distributes them when Revival members suffer injuries her magic alone may not reverse. These are consumable medical resources rather than a unique personal artifact, and no separately documented notable item remains associated with her at the end of the supplied corpus. (Chapters 197, 224–227, and 261)
