Lespina

Lespina is a Demon Army Commander created with a unique authority that rejects “impure” power, including much of the First Dungeon's support. Initially devoted to the Demon Lord and the conquest of Earth, she becomes Kang Shin's subordinate through Lilith's Temptation and later supplies the countermeasure that strips Ciara of Sherafina's stolen authority. Biography

Guardians and World Enemies

Lespina leads the demon occupation that isolates and freezes Oceania, and her followers treat her as the commander capable of matching Revival's strongest monsters. She personally intercepts Shin over Australia because his advance is destroying the Demon Lord's forces. Proud of having been born from the Demon Lord's power as the beginning of his campaign against other worlds, she intends to kill Earth's Hero and take its world power. Her freezing magic and authority suppress Shin's dungeon-derived strength, but she also fights tactically, hiding crystals in the air to freeze both Shin and Lotte when they pursue her. (Chapters 255–258)

Shin tests the boundaries of Lespina's rejection power, then overwhelms her with personal technique, item effects, divine power, and chaos flames that she cannot fully remove. Lilith's Temptation steals half her remaining health and mana and inflicts absolute obedience, permanently making her his subordinate. She immediately provides intelligence about the Demon Lord's timetable and the uniqueness of her own birth. Although the demons believe she burns to death, Shin secretly extinguishes the flames, sends her to recover in Edias beyond Sherafina's observation, and retains her as a safeguard against corrupt external powers. Final Wave and the Dungeon's End

Lespina remains hidden while later demon forces establish themselves in Greenland; those demons can interfere with dungeon users but do not possess her exact authority. The Demon Lord eventually denounces her as a traitor, while Shin continues concealing her survival even from allies and enemies with broad knowledge. This secrecy matters because Sherafina had feared Lespina's ability enough to push Shin toward killing her, and Lespina's submission had broken a mental suggestion Sherafina placed in him. Her continued existence therefore becomes both evidence of Sherafina's manipulation and Shin's prepared defense against it. (Chapters 317–318, 338, 344, and 351)

At Shin's signal, Lespina crosses from Edias through Dimensional Travel and confronts Ciara. Her authority rejects the power Ciara cannot truly claim, allowing Lespina—using mana supplied by Shin—to separate her from Sherafina's power, Earth’s power, and her elevated League. Lespina then transfers her own authority and mana to Shin for his final fusion and attempts to kill herself after completing her service. Shin stops her and orders her to keep living beside him. She ends alive but without her unique power, described as an ordinary demon whose mana Shin replenishes; her surrendered authority remains incorporated into his post-dungeon power. Appearance and personality

Lespina is a supple, long-haired demon with violet hair, light-blue skin, and completely white irises that Shin finds frightening. Apart from those visibly nonhuman traits, he considers her a rare beauty by human standards. She initially carries a longsword and surrounds herself with white freezing aura, while ice can form automatically around her as armor. Her appearance is unchanged when she returns from Edias, but after transferring her power she is no longer distinguished by the overwhelming authority and mana that marked her as a commander. Initially arrogant, militant, and absolutely loyal to the Demon Lord, Lespina regards dungeon power as borrowed impurity and believes her birth inaugurates his conquest. She is also observant and tactically inventive, although her confidence lets Shin bait her into looking at him instead of activating her defense. Absolute obedience changes her loyalty abruptly and magically rather than through a gradual moral conversion. Thereafter she is energetic, eager to serve Shin, and willing to sacrifice her power and life when asked; his decision to spare her leaves her openly happy about an ordinary future at his side. Powers and abilities

Lespina is born with immense demon mana, continent-scale ice magic, swordsmanship, and a unique authority that restores affected power toward a “pure” state by rejecting outside influence. She is an Irregular whom the Demon Lord cannot reproduce despite intending to create more anti-dungeon commanders. Her two principal powers interact but are distinct: ice is her elemental offense and defense, while rejection suppresses strength judged not to belong purely to its user. By the end she has surrendered the unique authority and most of her mana, leaving her alive as an ordinary demon. (Chapters 257–260, 266, 338, 351, and 352)

Rejection of impure power

Lespina's authority suppresses explorer statistics and skills granted or heavily shaped by the dungeon. Skills based closely on abilities Shin learned himself, including his spear technique and Peruta Circuit, are only slightly reduced, while item-inherent effects remain functional. It cannot erase his explorer qualification and is therefore not perfect nullification. The power is active rather than constant: Lespina must perceive and understand a target within the range of her realization, concentrate, and use a trigger such as speech or gesture. Pain, distraction, misdirection, or attacks she fails to recognize can consequently prevent the rejection from taking effect. (Chapters 257–260 and 266)

The same principle works on powers beyond ordinary dungeon skills. Lespina can destroy Event Dungeons as artificial structures built over dimensional pathways and later rejects Ciara's borrowed authority so completely that even Ciara's far-reaching knowledge fails to perceive Lespina. With Shin's mana, she separates Ciara from Sherafina's power, Earth’s power, and her acquired League. Lespina then transfers the authority itself to Shin, where it combines with his and Sherafina's powers. This is its final demonstrated use by her; afterward she no longer retains it. (Chapters 260, 269, 338, 344, 347, 351, and 352)

Ice magic and swordsmanship

Lespina commands enough freezing energy to leave Oceania under unnatural cold and can move or exploit massive ice formations. In direct battle she fills her longsword with cold, creates armor at the point of impact, releases a wide freezing burst, and plants crystals along her flight path that remain concealed until they gather around a pursuer. Her large mana reserve makes repeated automatic defenses difficult to penetrate even when an attacker exceeds her reaction speed. These effects require her retained power and concentration; Shin's chaos flames oppose the cold, while Ina's Skadi authority takes dominance over Lespina's ice and disperses it with a gesture. (Chapters 255–258)

Her swordsmanship is sufficient to exchange attacks with Shin while his dungeon abilities are suppressed, but she is slower than his Divine Speed and depends on ice armor to stop thrusts she cannot react to. Personal techniques, gods' powers, and physical item effects remain viable ways around her rejection, and sustained lightning and chaos flames eventually incapacitate her. After surrendering her authority and mana, Shin refills her mana, but the corpus does not demonstrate that her former continent-scale ice or commander-level sword combat remains available. Her latest combat ceiling is therefore unknown and should not be inferred from her earlier state. (Chapters 258–260 and 351)

Relationships

• Kang Shin: Lespina's original enemy and later master. He discovers the limits of her authority, subjects her to absolute obedience, secretly preserves her life, and relies on her to defeat Ciara before accepting her power and ordering her to continue living. (Chapters 257–261 and 351–352)
