Sark

Sark, known as Eagle Eye Sark, is a Sand Race Light Shaking Realm cultivator and trusted subordinate of Pall. He pursues Su Chen to avenge his younger brother Culler, nearly kills him in a prolonged battle, and is subsequently kept alive as the principal experimental subject for Su Chen's research into reaching the Light Shaking Realm without a bloodline.

Biography

Revenge beneath West Laina Castle

Sark follows Su Chen and Zhu Xianyao into the collapsing spaces beneath West Laina Castle after learning that Su Chen killed Culler. Xianyao, still angry at the disguised infiltrator, deliberately tells Sark where to find him, expecting the confrontation to expose Su Chen's face rather than anticipating the guard's true strength. Sark activates Eagle Eye, begins breaking the disguise, and reveals a hidden Light Shaking cultivation that surprises both opponents. His aim is direct and personal: avenge his brother and see the killer's real identity. (Chapter 548)

Su Chen and Xianyao are forced back into cooperation. Xianyao's Heavenly Fox arts divide Sark's attention while Su uses medicine, the Mountain-Beheading Blade, fire, frost, and illusion to overcome the realm gap. Sark loses an arm in the first exchange but immediately begins rebuilding it with earth energy. He changes the battlefield with sand and mud, uses the Fifth Earth Pearl when his ordinary defenses fail, and summons a protective golden barrier when Su's blade reaches his neck. Even after his neck breaks, his body is cut open, an eye is destroyed, and multiple attackers pierce him, he continues fighting and wounds both Su and He Xu. (Chapters 548–551)

The battle turns only because Su has prepared several allies and attacks. He Xu opens a wound in Sark's back, Xianyao disrupts him, and Su repeatedly drives attacks into existing injuries. Sark still awakens his lizard companion and tries to continue until an unseen fourth ally draws the beast away. His injuries and rage finally make him collapse, and everyone except Su's group believes he died. Su instead applies medicines, retrieves the body, and takes Sark with the retreating procession for experimentation. (Chapters 550–555 and 557–558)

Captive research subject

Sark awakens immobilized on Su Chen's workbench with his torso opened under an experimental anesthetic. Su explains that Sand Race cultivation resembles human cultivation closely enough to make Sark especially useful for research into a bloodline-free Light Shaking breakthrough. Sark repeatedly demands death, threatens to kill his captor, and tries to suppress the reaction of his Lotus Platform. Su answers with Origin-shackling medicine and soul pain that forces the platform's defensive energy to emerge for observation. (Chapter 559)

The experiment establishes that Sark remains conscious and physically resilient after injuries that would kill lower-level cultivators. Su closes his wounds, gives him recovery medicine, and places him in an ice cabinet so that he can be reused after ten days of recovery. This is Sark's final direct scene. Later references discuss his Eagle Eye and the fight as past events but do not say whether he eventually dies, escapes, is released, or remains a long-term subject, so his ultimate fate is unresolved. Appearance and personality

The corpus gives no initial description of Sark's age, height, face, hair, eyes, or clothing. When he activates a defensive transformation, his muscles bulge and rock scales spread over his body until he resembles a man carved from stone. His Eagle Eye appears as a piercing glow, while Light Shaking activation manifests a Lotus Platform at his forehead. The battle later leaves him with a severed and regrowing arm, a broken neck, one destroyed eye, and a torso split by the Mountain-Beheading Blade. (Chapters 548–551)

Sark is loyal, vengeful, proud, and exceptionally stubborn. Culler’s death is enough to make him abandon larger battlefield concerns and stalk the killer through a collapsing hidden space. He initially dismisses Su Chen and Xianyao as weak, then becomes furious when a Yang Opening cultivator repeatedly drives him back. Even when dismembered, surrounded, and functionally defeated, he prioritizes seeing Su's face and killing the people responsible over escape. (Chapters 548–551)

That determination becomes resistance in captivity. Sark refuses cooperation despite pain, asks to be killed rather than studied, and consciously restricts his Lotus Platform to deny Su information. He never accepts Su's justification that research gives the torment a larger purpose. Abilities and cultivation

Sark is a Light Shaking cultivator specializing in earth and sand manipulation, disguise-breaking vision, physical reinforcement, and extreme durability. His exact number of Lotus Platforms is not stated; one platform is visibly manifested during his ambush.

Light Shaking body and Lotus Platform

Sark can fly, command large quantities of Origin Energy, and continue functioning through wounds that would be immediately fatal at lower realms. Light Shaking vitality lets earth energy rebuild a severed arm, allows him to fight with a broken neck and split torso, and keeps him alive during invasive experiments. His Lotus Platform also produces instinctive protective energy when his body or soul is threatened. (Chapters 548–551 and 559)

This durability is not invulnerability. Continuous attacks into existing wounds eventually overwhelm regeneration, and suppressing his Origin Energy with medicine leaves him dependent on physical vitality. Su estimates that an opened Light Shaking body with intact organs could ordinarily survive three days, but Sark's shackled state reduces that to roughly three hours without Lotus Platform support. Recovery is substantial but slow enough that Su schedules ten days between major experiments. (Chapter 559)

Eagle Eye

Eagle Eye is Sark's defining perception technique. A piercing light from his eyes agitates the target's Origin Energy and breaks camouflage, forcing disguised bodies toward their original appearance. It exposes He Xu's infiltration and nearly reveals Su Chen beneath the form of You Tianyang. An ordinary physical mask still conceals Su's face after the bodily disguise falls, demonstrating that the technique removes transformation rather than seeing through every intervening object. (Chapters 548 and 672)

The corpus does not state Eagle Eye's range, energy cost, or whether it can detect hidden targets who are not already in sight. It also offers no proof that the ability reads memories or identifies an unknown person by itself. Sand and earth techniques

Fifth Earth Pearl and Wild Beheading Sand

The Fifth Earth Pearl is a blackish-yellow Origin Tool that produces a powerful blade of sand. Sark's favored application is Wild Beheading Sand, which can contest the enlarged Mountain-Beheading Blade and cut through Su Chen's arm. He initially withholds the Pearl because he expects to win without it, then uses it once Su's prepared strength and Xianyao's interference overturn that assumption. (Chapters 549–550)

The weapon improves Sark's offense but does not resolve the fight. At close range, Sark uses fists, kicks, and raw stone-bodied strength alongside his sand arts. He breaks Su's mask and nose, severs an arm with the Fifth Earth blade, penetrates He Xu's body with a hand, and throws attackers away with energy waves even while gravely injured. His main tactical weakness is pride: underestimating a prepared lower-realm opponent lets Su seize the opening exchange and keep him reacting rather than controlling the battle. (Chapters 548–551)

Lizard companion

Sark brings a powerful lizard capable of joining the fight on command. Su Chen uses Fata Morgana to freeze it temporarily, but Sark reawakens it with a palm strike even while dying. An unidentified ally then lures the creature into darkness and kills it away from the main battle. The text does not name its species, realm, abilities, or bond with Sark, so it is best understood as a combat companion rather than an innate summon. (Chapters 550–551)

Relationships

• Culler: Sark identifies Culler as his younger brother and seeks revenge immediately after learning that Su Chen killed him. The relationship supplies Sark's sole stated personal motive and draws him away from Pall's main force into an isolated battle. Culler is already dead before Sark's direct appearance, so no interaction between the brothers is shown. (Chapter 548)
• Su Chen: Sark regards Su as his brother's killer and tries to strip away his disguise before executing him. Su survives through preparation, allies, and layered counters, then denies Sark the death he requests by turning him into a research subject. Their relationship ends as unyielding hatred on Sark's side and clinical exploitation on Su's. (Chapters 548–559)
• Zhu Xianyao: Xianyao directs Sark toward Su in the hope that Eagle Eye will expose the infiltrator. Once Sark reveals Light Shaking strength, she realizes he will kill her as well and joins Su against him. • Pall: Sark is one of Pall's trusted guards and hides his Light Shaking cultivation as part of the Sand Race leader's broader deception. He also acts as an observer able to expose infiltrators. • He Xu: Sark's Eagle Eye previously exposes He Xu's disguise.
