Aaron

Aaron is an irascible Immortal Temple combatant who first serves in Baron’s hired strike team and later appears among Sang Zhen’s Northface subordinates. His hostility toward Su Chen is sharpened by a cultivation injury rather than a unique personal feud, and it repeatedly places him on the skeptical side of negotiations even while he fights effectively for the same organization.

Biography

The Shadow Mountain operation

Aaron first acts during the Immortal Temple-backed attack on the Golden Name Workshop and Shadow Mountain Troops. When Baron finds no hidden treasure on Su Chen, he orders Aaron to apologize for the suspicion; Aaron does so reluctantly. In the subsequent assault, Aaron kills bandits with a paper-thin blade, striking the heart, throat, or Qi Sea with unusual speed and precision. He also inventories the captured valuables and continues to needle Su Chen until Baron restrains him. (Chapters 73–75)

During the interrogation of Qing He, Aaron favors killing the prisoner immediately and dismisses Su Chen’s conditional mercy as unnecessary. The mission nevertheless ends without a break between them. Night Demon later explains that Aaron’s cultivation of the difficult Negation Blade damaged his heart, leaving him unusually quick to anger; his provocations are therefore habitual rather than a campaign directed solely at Su Chen. Negotiation and renewed cooperation

Aaron later appears at the Immortal Temple’s Northface base when Su Chen negotiates over the Spirit Burying Terrace. He rejects Su Chen’s claim to equal cooperation, erupts when the youth questions the Temple’s promises, and laughs at the idea that Su Chen could learn to refine Spirit-Sobering Medicine. Sang Zhen, not Aaron, controls the negotiation, and ultimately accepts the arrangement despite Aaron’s objections. (Chapters 111–114)

After the entrance examination, Aaron correctly infers that Su Chen used another candidate to carry the Corpse Spirit Flowers out of the Red Peak Range, although he cannot identify Lin Jingxuan as the courier. He later comes to Su Chen’s aid during a forest confrontation, joining Smoke, Copper Deer, and Qingbai against three opponents. Sword Qi from the youth surnamed Yu penetrates his body and turns his face pale, but the scene ends without reporting Aaron’s death. His later fate is not supplied. (Chapters 151 and 184–185)

Appearance and personality

Aaron initially wears the black clothing used by Baron’s strike team and wields a blade described as thin as paper. The corpus does not provide stable details for his face, age, height, hair, or later dress. (Chapters 73 and 75)

He is impatient, suspicious, and easily enraged. His sharp reactions are partly a lasting consequence of damaging his heart while cultivating the Negation Blade. Negation Blade

Aaron cultivates Negation Blade, an Origin Skill described as extremely difficult and extremely powerful. In mass combat he uses a paper-thin weapon and rapid, economical motions to hit anatomical and cultivation weak points. Although only a high-layer Qi Drawing cultivator at the time, he kills common bandits faster than many stronger combatants. (Chapters 75 and 77)

The technique’s demonstrated cost is severe: a past cultivation setback damages Aaron’s heart and leaves him chronically irascible.
