Nannan

Nannan is a prominent Central Academy student whose precise invisibility magic initially makes her a showcase for the institution's superiority. Her defeat by Safa, discovery of the academy's corruption, and decision to accept Alen's protection shift her from proud representative to endangered witness.

Biography

Central Academy pride and Safa's challenge

Nannan arrives at the academy exhibition with Bones as one of Central's most recognizable students. Chosen to display an unusual affinity, she remains invisible while casting large fire, water, and wind spells, exactly the demonstration Principal Ibarin intends to overshadow Wilton Academy. Safa instead calls Nannan into her own exhibition, sees through the invisibility with her God Eyes, and restrains her with Qi. Panicking after her signature advantage fails, Nannan escalates with wind attacks but is decisively outmatched before the crowd. (Chapters 1389–1427)

The defeat damages Central Academy's public image and leaves Nannan exposed to Ibarin's displeasure. When an apology meeting is arranged, she approaches Safa with visible nervousness and attempts to settle their conflict rather than restart it. The corpus does not establish that they become close friends, but Nannan's posture changes from quiet challenge and institutional certainty to caution around both Safa and her own principal. Choosing survival over the academy

Nannan continues using invisibility effectively in the team event, where it supports surprise attacks, though Safa can warn allies who cannot see her. The larger crisis begins when Nannan, Bones, and other Central students discover that the Wilton group is connected to the Dark Guild and that Ibarin poses a threat to them and their families. Faced with returning to a corrupt academy or disappearing under Alen's protection, Nannan accepts the offer with trembling lips but a resolute expression, giving up the institution that had defined her status. During the confrontation with Ibarin, Nannan argues that the hidden students cannot openly attack the principals without drawing the stadium's other mages into the fight. She watches Raze expose and defeat Ibarin, then expresses relief that Dark Guild members protect him during his vulnerable breakthrough. Her companion notes that their powers have been removed, and the corpus leaves Nannan alive but unable to demonstrate her former magic; it does not explain whether that loss is later reversed. Appearance and personality

Nannan wears a sleek white mask over the lower half of her face. Straight bangs cover most of her forehead, leaving vivid blue eyes visible; her quiet intensity and controlled posture make her recognizable even beside Bones. During her public demonstration she moves with poise, smiles playfully, and bows gracefully after reappearing. (Chapters 1389 and 1424)

Her early confidence is tied to Central Academy's prestige and to an ability few opponents can answer. Safa's direct counter exposes a more impulsive side when Nannan panics and attacks. Later scenes emphasize fear, caution, and ultimately resolve: she worries about Ibarin, chooses protection for her family over academy status, and resists the temptation to intervene in a way that would worsen the public battle. Magic, cultivation, and abilities

Nannan's defining ability makes her invisible and prevents ordinary observers from sensing her presence. Unlike common concealment that fails during casting, hers persists while she uses substantial fire, water, and wind magic. Maintaining both concealment and multi-element spells requires exceptional mana control, and her public display includes flames, water, and a tornado without revealing her position. The corpus calls the power a unique trait but does not give its acquisition history or deeper mechanics. (Chapter 1424)

The concealment does not make Nannan intangible or untargetable. Safa's God Eyes perceive her position, after which Qi can seize and restrain her; warnings from someone who can see her also reduce the advantage for nearby allies. Nannan later produces twin wind tornadoes and uses invisibility for team-stage ambushes, but she is eventually described as having lost her powers along with the other protected students. Relationships

• Safa: Safa publicly counters Nannan's invisibility and forces her defeat. Their later apology reduces open hostility, and Safa remains the clearest demonstrated counter to Nannan's signature power.
• Bones: Bones is Nannan's fellow recognizable Central student, companion through the exhibition, and partner in the group that accepts Alen's protection.
• Alen: Alen offers protection for Nannan and her family on the condition that she disappear from academy life. She accepts and remains under his care during the crisis.
• George and Kayzel: They share Nannan's endangered position after discovering the conflict around Ibarin and make the same choice to leave Central Academy's control.
