Enaxx

Enaxx is a nine-star Grand Magus who serves as the organization's public face while secretly using autonomous copies to commit crimes behind flawless alibis. His persecution of Jake Dove's family makes him one of Raze Cromwell's most personal enemies, and his invasion of Pagna ends in his confirmed death.

Biography

Public face and concealed murderer

Enaxx appears among the five Grand Magus at Raze's last stand, already an object of personal hatred. In Alterian society he is the organization's polished spokesman, giving interviews and speeches while the Glory Guild extends his influence. That public image conceals an explosive inferiority complex. When presenter Ashley asks whether he is the weakest Grand Magus, one Enaxx remains visibly elsewhere while another murders her and her staff, exploiting his cloning trait to manufacture an apparently impossible alibi. (Chapters 1, 239, and 762–795)

The same secret explains a pattern of war crimes, retaliatory killings, and the destruction of Jake Dove's family. Alen, whom Enaxx trained in advanced fire control, realizes that every investigation clears Enaxx only because public evidence places him far from the crime. Raze identifies the missing fact: Enaxx can make more than one autonomous body and has escaped apparent death before. This turns the celebrated role model into both a political enforcer and the personal target Raze repeatedly failed to kill permanently. (Chapters 1029–1034 and 1087–1098)

Invasion and death in Pagna

Under Idore's threat that failure without death means exile, Enaxx crosses to Pagna through the Golden Globe, works with Alter, and kills restricted Divine warriors to demonstrate his superiority. He later spreads numerous copies across the Light Faction battlefield, attacks without distinguishing allies from enemies, and divides his attention so widely that each body becomes weaker. Raze's allies destroy the dispersed copies while Raze and Murkel Dockthron confront the concentration of his power. (Chapters 1111–1114, 1185–1186, and 1208–1261)

Desperation drives Enaxx to use Breakthrough, turning four remaining bodies into separate elemental forms. When those are destroyed, their power returns to the survivors, and Enaxx repeatedly escapes fatal blows by splitting again. Murkel ultimately traps the last fleeing form in his crystallized body, accepting death because Enaxx also destroyed his family. Raze's final Eclipse Strike erases both men; the breaking-mana sensation associated with a shattered core confirms that Enaxx is truly dead rather than merely another lost copy. (Chapters 1262–1266)

Appearance and personality

Enaxx is a handsome middle-aged man with a nearly flawless face. For public appearances he keeps his facial hair groomed, wears a fresh haircut and stylish light-blue suit, and smiles with conspicuously white teeth. In Pagna he wears a long white blazer with red accents and trim. His controlled presentation is central to his role as the Grand Magus's public representative. (Chapters 762–765 and 1111)

Behind that image, Enaxx is vain, contemptuous, cruel, and deeply sensitive to suggestions that he ranks below the other Grand Magus. He kills minor critics, treats unknown worlds as an opportunity to vent frustration, and attacks a battlefield indiscriminately when events no longer suit him. His pride collapses into frantic flight once Raze dismantles the advantage of his copies, revealing self-preservation beneath his public confidence. (Chapters 764–795 and 1259–1266)

Magic, cultivation, and abilities

Nine-star elemental mastery

Enaxx is a nine-star mage capable of pure mana, formations, and every standard elemental affinity demonstrated in the corpus. His public display moves wind, ice, lightning, fire, and other elements outward with enough control to stop each attack immediately before an audience. In combat he raises earth walls, burns powerful warriors, freezes terrain, projects lightning, and combines wind with fire. His scale can devastate a palace, but Dark Magic that disrupts spells and Raze's combination of Qi, weapons, and magic can overcome individual casts. (Chapters 764–765, 1111–1113, and 1260–1263)

Autonomous copies

Enaxx's unique trait creates exact physical copies that move independently, adopt different gestures, cast different elements, receive wounds, and later merge back into one body. The copies are not visual illusions. Destroyed bodies disperse into mana, and their power returns to those remaining; dividing into very many bodies weakens each one's spell output. The corpus does not establish an original body that must survive: Raze concludes that the final remaining copy becomes the real Enaxx, and Enaxx can split at the moment of a fatal strike to escape through another body. (Chapters 765, 1087–1088, 1112–1113, and 1259–1265)

These ordinary copies must be distinguished from Enaxx's Breakthrough forms. His trait first makes four bodies, then Breakthrough changes them into bodies composed wholly of fire, wind, ice, and water. Each form is locked to its element but casts it faster, more continuously, and at nine-star force without the earlier dilution. Breakthrough is a last resort that ends ordinary mana use afterward. Dark Magic can diminish or consume the elemental bodies, Murkel's crystallization can shatter them, and when forms fall their strength reconcentrates in the survivors. (Chapters 1261–1265)

Relationships

• Raze Cromwell: Enaxx helps destroy the life surrounding Raze's beloved Jake Dove and repeatedly evades Raze through copies or intervention. Raze makes his confirmed death a personal milestone in the campaign against the Grand Magus.
• Alen: Enaxx trains Alen in advanced fire magic and supplies spells, presenting the attention as patronage. Alen's investigation of Enaxx's alibis instead helps expose the secret behind his crimes.
• Idore: Idore commands Enaxx to enter Pagna and threatens him with exclusion if he returns after failure. Enaxx obeys despite resenting being ordered around, illustrating his subordinate position within the Grand Magus hierarchy.
• Murkel Dockthron: Enaxx previously kills Murkel's family and later fights him in Pagna. Murkel chooses to hold Enaxx in place for Raze's final attack, making their shared death the end of that conflict.

Items

• Golden Globe: Alter's arrangement with Heino uses the Globe to send Enaxx into Pagna. It is transportation infrastructure rather than the source of his cloning or elemental mastery, and he is not established as its owner or final custodian. (Chapters 1112–1114)
