Sky Poison Pearl

The Sky Poison Pearl is the Heavenly Profound Treasure bound to Yun Che across his reincarnation. It combines ultimate purification with the potential for ultimate poison, contains an independent internal space, and refines medicines and materials without the ordinary risk of failure. Its fusion with Yun Che makes it less a carried possession than a permanent part of his body and soul.

History

Yun Che obtains the pearl in Azure Cloud Continent and uses its medical and poisonous power while traveling with his master, Yun Gu. After Yun Gu's death, the treasure makes Yun Che the target of the continent's strongest factions. He releases its poison at Cloud's End Cliff, dies, and awakens in Xiao Che's body with the pearl fused into his left hand. That fusion carries both the artifact and the knowledge of his earlier life into the Profound Sky Continent. (Prologue; Chapters 1 and 8–10)

For much of the story the pearl has no true poison spirit. It can purify extraordinary toxins and refine materials, but its offensive poison is restricted to the mortal poison origin Yun Che recovered in Azure Cloud Continent. The royal wood spirit He Ling later sacrifices her independent body and becomes its new spirit. Her perfectly pure soul restores the pearl's higher functions, lets it generate divine poison, and also gives her control of its interior and refinement processes. Properties and use

The pearl's purification can identify, absorb, and neutralize poison in Yun Che or another target. Yun Che uses it to diagnose concealed toxins, save poisoned allies, and survive substances that conventional medicine cannot approach. Its refinement power can rapidly process herbs, crystals, blood, and other materials into usable medicine while preserving their energy. The internal space stores objects and living occupants outside the ordinary world, allowing Jasmine and later He Ling to remain with Yun Che unseen. (Chapters 8–12, 40–58, 134–148, and 1472–1483)

With He Ling as spirit, the pearl again produces Sky Poison capable of threatening divine cultivators. Yun Che uses precisely measured quantities for coercion, assassination, and war rather than releasing it indiscriminately. Its poison is especially dangerous because the same artifact can conceal, control, and later purify it. The pearl can also share a compatible spirit with another Heavenly Profound Treasure, enabling He Ling to displace the later Eternal Heaven Pearl spirit and claim that treasure for Yun Che. Limits

The Sky Poison Pearl is not an unlimited source of poison or energy. Before He Ling's rebirth it lacks the original poison spirit and cannot reproduce its ancient divine toxins. Afterward, the strength and amount of poison still depend on the restored poison origin and He Ling's control. Purification cannot reverse a completed death or replace missing vitality, and the internal world does not make occupants immune to every force affecting Yun Che.
