Heaven Smiting Devil Slayer Sword

The Heaven Smiting Devil Slayer Sword, often shortened to Heaven Smiting Sword, is the living heavy sword formed by Hong'er under her contract with Yun Che. It grows by consuming other swords, carries a special suppressive effect against devil power, and becomes Yun Che's principal weapon after absorbing Dragon Fault.

History

Yun Che encounters Hong'er inside the Primordial Profound Ark and forms a master contract with her. When she consumes Dragon Fault, the power and shape of the heavy sword become part of her own sword body. Jasmine identifies the result as a weapon that can continue strengthening whenever Hong'er eats suitable swords, especially powerful heavy swords. Yun Che initially struggles with its increased mass, then adapts his strength and technique around it. (Chapters 481–510)

The sword proves decisive against the Moon Slaughter Devil Sovereign and Xuanyuan Wentian. Its vermilion light tears through darkness energy, turns wounds in a devil body into persistent agony, and interferes with the circulation of devil power. Those victories establish that its title describes an actual property rather than ceremonial naming. It remains Yun Che's primary heavy weapon through his ascent and later transformations. Properties and use

Hong'er can shift between a young humanoid spirit and the enormous sword, appearing from the scarlet contract mark on Yun Che's arm. The weapon's weight and accumulated power increase as she consumes swords, giving Yun Che tremendous momentum and durability in direct clashes. He combines it with the Sirius sword style, divine flame, darkness power, and the Evil God gates to create attacks capable of breaking domains and overwhelming stronger opponents. Its devil-slaying nature is strongest against devil bodies, devil souls, and darkness profound energy. It can disperse or wound powers that an ordinary weapon would merely collide with. That advantage is not absolute: enemies with a large enough cultivation gap can still repel the blade, and Yun Che must supply the profound strength needed to move and empower it. Hong'er's appetite and willingness also make the sword a living partner rather than an inert tool. (Chapters 779–785, 860–913, and 931–932)
