Dragon Fault, also called the Dragon Fault Sword, is Yun Che's signature early heavy sword. He takes it from the Stone Dragon General during the Primordial Azure Dragon's trial and carries it through the Blue Wind, Burning Heaven, Heavenly Sword, and early Illusory Demon conflicts.

History

Dragon Fault begins as the weapon of the Stone Dragon General in the first stage of the Dragon God's trial. Yun Che disarms the general, turns the sword against it, and retains the weapon after the construct disappears. The sword's roughly four-thousand-kilogram weight and Sky Profound aura make it one of the most conspicuous weapons in Blue Wind. Its historical name is known at Heavenly Sword Villa, where records connect it to the villa's long-abandoned heavy-sword branch. (Chapters 186–190 and 240–241)

Yun Che masters Dragon Fault through the Prison God Sirius' Tome and the bodily strength gained from the Great Way of the Buddha. It becomes the focus of his Falling Moon Sinking Star, Sky Wolf Slash, Phoenix Break, and other heavy-sword attacks. When he later contracts Hong'er in the Primordial Profound Ark, she eats Dragon Fault. Its substance and aura become part of her growing sword body, preserving its power inside the Heaven Smiting Devil Slayer Sword rather than leaving Dragon Fault as a separate weapon. Properties and use

The sword is broad, gray, and built for crushing force rather than delicate fencing. Its mass generates violent wind and pressure with every swing, while its Sky Profound quality lets it survive collisions that would shatter ordinary weapons. Yun Che often combines it with Phoenix flame so that the blade strikes as both a physical impact and a wave of divine fire. (Chapters 186–192, 240–267, and 302–354)

Dragon Fault's weight is also its principal limitation. A conventional practitioner would sacrifice speed and control merely by lifting it. Yun Che offsets that burden with exceptional physical strength, Star God's Broken Shadow, and a heavy-sword art designed to turn broad motion into defense. As his cultivation and opponents rise beyond the mortal realms, Hong'er's living sword form provides a path for the weapon to evolve instead of being discarded. (Chapters 229, 289–293, and 481–510)
