Luo Changsheng

Luo Changsheng is the foremost young cultivator produced by the Holy Eaves Realm and the leading favorite of the Profound God Convention before Yun Che overturns that expectation. His elegant public manner conceals an extreme need to remain unrivaled, and his defeat becomes a grievance that survives three thousand years of cultivation.

Biography

The Profound God Convention

Luo Changsheng enters the convention as the universally recognized first of the Eastern Region's Four God Children. He dominates both preliminary rounds, ascends the Eternal Heaven Tower at extraordinary speed, and defeats opponents through a combination of overwhelming cultivation and unusually broad elemental power. His final battle with Yun Che breaks the composure behind that reputation. After Yun Che survives everything he offers and defeats him before the gathered God Realm, Luo Changsheng attacks again in rage rather than accept the result. The loss makes Yun Che champion and exposes pride as the weakness beneath Young Master Changsheng's cultivated courtesy. (Chapters 1141–1281)

Three millennia and an unresolved defeat

Luo Changsheng enters the Eternal Heaven Divine Realm as the youngest Divine King in Eastern Region history. Three thousand internal years raise him to a level-seven Divine Master, an advance hailed as miraculous even among the convention's chosen generation. The interval does not erase his humiliation. After emerging, he speaks politely to Yun Che and promises to repay favors, but Huo Poyun correctly recognizes that the hatred remains. Luo Changsheng later uses Huo Poyun's jealous message to send Luo Guxie against Yun Che, keeping his own hands and public reputation removed from the attack. (Chapters 1305, 1382, and 1467)

The fugitive at the edge of Primal Chaos

When the orthodox realms condemn Yun Che as a devil, chance places the unconscious fugitive near Luo Changsheng and Huo Poyun. Luo Changsheng treats the encounter as the revenge fate owed him and moves to capture Yun Che, threatening the Flame God Realm when Huo Poyun unexpectedly chooses to protect his former friend. Jun Wuming and Jun Xilei intervene, wound and restrain Luo Changsheng, and force him to open his soul so the preceding hour can be sealed away. The episode shows how little his refinement restrains him once victory over Yun Che appears possible, but also leaves him alive and unaware of the escape he nearly prevented. (Chapters 1707–1708)

Final attack and death

When Yun Che returns to the Eastern Divine Region as the Northern emperor, Luo Changsheng's obsession finally overrides any hope of survival. He attacks Yun Che in Chapter 1764 and is struck down by Yan Two. Before Luo Changsheng's collapsing soul disperses, Chi Wuyao searches it and recovers the sealed memory of Huo Poyun protecting Yun Che at the edge of Primal Chaos. The man who saw Yun Che's helplessness as a final chance for revenge thus becomes the involuntary evidence of another rival's loyalty. (Chapter 1764)

Luo Shangchen catches his dying son, but neither paternal grief nor Holy Eaves prestige can reverse the wound. Chapter 1765 confirms Luo Changsheng's death. His three-thousand-year grievance ends not in the victory he imagined, but in a futile assault against a Yun Che who has advanced far beyond him. (Chapters 1764–1765)

Appearance and personality

Luo Changsheng has fair, clear skin, refined and somewhat feminine features, and a youthful appearance closer to seventeen or eighteen than his actual age. He dresses in white and carries himself like a gentle scholar, usually wearing a mild smile even while judging those around him from a position of assumed superiority. (Chapters 1156 and 1467)

He is controlled, courteous, and capable of acknowledging debts when his status feels secure. Defeat reveals a different temperament: competitive pride becomes hatred, and he is willing to use intermediaries or public orthodoxy to pursue Yun Che without appearing openly dishonorable. His three-thousand-year resentment demonstrates that immense cultivation does not resolve the emotional wound created when his identity as the greatest young genius is taken from him. (Chapters 1270–1281, 1382, 1467, and 1707–1708)

Abilities and cultivation

Luo Changsheng is born with three divine powers and can command three elemental branches, an exceptionally rare foundation that supports offense, defense, movement, and recovery without forcing him into a single style. During the Profound God Convention he uses wind, lightning, and earth power together, combining speed and destructive force with defenses capable of surviving attacks that would defeat another Divine Spirit immediately. His precise control and abundant reserves make him the preliminary rounds' most consistent leader. (Chapters 1141–1269 and 1305)

He becomes the youngest Divine King then known in the Eastern Divine Region and emerges from the Eternal Heaven Divine Realm as a level-seven Divine Master. That cultivation makes him vastly stronger than his convention-era self and faster than Huo Poyun, but not superior to the Sword Sovereigns or the king-realm summit. Jun Xilei can hold him within her sword domain, while Jun Wuming's Imagination Sword makes resistance impossible. He remains at that confirmed level when Yan Two kills him. (Chapters 1305, 1382, 1707–1708, and 1764–1765)

Relationships

  • Yun Che: Yun Che's victory destroys Luo Changsheng's identity as the uncontested greatest of his generation. Luo Changsheng preserves that hatred through the Eternal Heaven interval and later tries to capture him as a condemned devil.
  • Luo Guxie: His master and the source of much of his cultivation. Luo Changsheng secretly directs her rage toward Yun Che after receiving Huo Poyun's message.
  • Luo Shangchen: His father and Holy Eaves Realm King, whose realm treats Changsheng's talent as its greatest prestige and future.
  • Huo Poyun: Their shared years and resentment create an uneasy confidence. Huo Poyun first supplies the information Luo Changsheng wants, then attacks him and saves Yun Che when revenge becomes immediate.
  • Jun Xilei: She and Jun Wuming block his pursuit of Yun Che. Her sword domain wounds and restrains him while her master seals the incriminating memory.

Items

Luo Changsheng uses high-grade weapons and protective artifacts during the Profound God Convention, but no single named item remains the defining source of his later power. His reputation rests on cultivation, triple elemental inheritance, and the teaching of Luo Guxie rather than possession of a Heavenly Profound Treasure. (Chapters 1181–1269)
