Chu Yueli is one of the Frozen Cloud Seven Fairies, the younger sister of Chu Yuechan, and the first formal master of Xia Qingyue.

Biography

Teacher and guardian of Frozen Cloud

Chu Yueli discovers Xia Qingyue's exceptional physique, accepts her into Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace, and remains near her during the Blue Wind Ranking Tournament and its aftermath. She initially views Yun Che through the sect's strict emotional discipline, but his repeated protection of Qingyue and Frozen Cloud forces her to revise that judgment. When Sun Moon Divine Hall attacks the palace, Chu Yueli fights with the other fairies and survives the sect's near destruction. She later accepts Yun Che's authority as Asgard Master and remains part of the restored palace. (Chapters 32, 180–190, 384–399, and 900–939)

Appearance and personality

Chu Yueli has the cold beauty, pale robes, and restrained bearing associated with the Frozen Cloud Seven Fairies. She is disciplined and cautious rather than unfeeling: concern for Xia Qingyue and Chu Yuechan repeatedly breaks through her formal reserve, while threats to her sect bring out immediate courage and anger. Abilities and cultivation

Chu Yueli practices Frozen Cloud arts, using ice profound energy, sword technique, and the sect's coordinated formations. She is one of Blue Wind's strongest women when introduced, but later enemies from the Sacred Grounds exceed her individual strength.
