Yang Fang

Yang Fang is a veteran Archean Mountain Godfiend assigned to defend Jiang State Capital. His Great Strength Fiend Body makes him the close-combat member of the city's three-strong command team with Zhang Yunfeng and Meng Chuan.

Biography

Defending Jiang State Capital

Yang Fang joins the capital's new defense command as a deputy general and openly explains his strengths so the trio can coordinate. He and Zhang remain at headquarters while Meng Chuan's speed handles urgent investigations, studying intelligence, receiving captured Skydemons, and interpreting evidence of an enemy network. When demon monarchs invade, Yang and Zhang immediately move to unite with Meng Chuan and prevent the attackers from isolating the city's defenders. (Chapters 164–173)

Yang reaches Meng Chuan during his clash with Blackwater Palace Lord and helps turn the interception into a three-person pursuit and kill. Afterward, he stays in Jiang State Capital because its seven million residents still require a powerful defender, while the badly wounded Zhang Yunfeng leaves for treatment. Later Godfiends remember the three seniors' victory as a defining defense of the capital; Yang's subsequent fate is not stated. (Chapters 176–183 and 232)

Appearance and personality

Yang is a stocky elder who often smiles when speaking with younger comrades. He assesses his own strength without exaggeration, respects Zhang Yunfeng's superior domain, and readily agrees that humanity will ultimately win despite the losses around them. His continued post at the capital emphasizes steadiness and duty rather than a personal quest. (Chapters 164–165 and 183)

Abilities and cultivation

Yang is a Great Solar Godfiend at the Realm of Dao who cultivates the Great Strength Fiend Body. The body specializes in close combat, giving him the normal head-on strength of a weak Marquis Godfiend. He can use forbidden spells for greater power, but his advanced age means doing so would shorten his remaining lifespan. (Chapters 164–165)

His main tactical limitation is mobility rather than striking power: during the capital invasion, Meng Chuan must use his own movement technique to carry Yang and Zhang fast enough to pursue the fleeing Blackwater Palace Lord. Once in position, Yang supplies the direct combat strength needed to keep the fourth Firmament Skydemon from escaping. (Chapters 173 and 176–182)
