Blackwater Palace Lord

Blackwater Palace Lord is the bald, black-robed leader of one of Skydemon Sect's seven factions. A fourth Firmament Skydemon comparable to a Marquis Godfiend, he commands the joint demon–Skydemon assault on Jiang State Capital and personally hunts its defenders before Meng Chuan, Yang Fang, and Zhang Yunfeng kill him. Biography

Assault on Jiang State Capital

Blackwater Palace Lord assembles 119 demon monarchs and ten Skydemons outside Jiang State Capital, then orders them to enter from every direction, massacre civilians, and force the defending Godfiends to reveal themselves. He joins the city through a river in a concealed water form and kills several Godfiends before targeting Meng Chuan. His stated motive is Skydemon Sect's promised future under demon rule, not an independently described grievance against the city. (Chapters 170–174)

He nearly traps Meng Chuan with a domain and half-demon transformation, but Meng Chuan's speed lets him survive until Zhang Yunfeng and Yang Fang arrive. The three Godfiends coordinate domain pressure, axe attacks, and saber strikes; Meng Chuan finally pierces Blackwater Palace Lord's head, after which Demon Slayer consumes the body. Later references to him are reports of that battle, not evidence of survival. (Chapters 175–180, 194, and 397)

Appearance and personality

He is bald, wears black robes, walks barefoot, and enjoys rainy weather. The corpus portrays him as coldly confident and openly cruel: he treats mass killing as bait and remembers exterminating an enemy family before joining the Skydemon Sect. His anticipation of public Skydemon rule is explicit, while motives beyond power, status, and sect loyalty are not established. (Chapters 170–174)

Abilities and cultivation

Blackwater Palace Lord can conceal his aura, transform into black water, move through rivers, control lethal streams of water, and spread a domain capable of restricting weaker opponents. His strongest half-demon form grows a long black tail and raises his close-combat power. These abilities overwhelm ordinary Godfiends, but coordinated Great Solar Godfiends can exploit his divided attention and Meng Chuan's superior speed. (Chapters 171–180)
