Wang Fanchou

Wang Fanchou is an elder of Cloud State's Wang family and the grandfather of Wang Cong. He uses family standing to protect his grandson, then confronts the young cultivators who kill Wang Cong during a rescue.

Biography

Protection of a criminal ends in confinement

Wang Fanchou's influence is established before he appears: guards identify Wang Cong as his grandson, and the family's broader standing makes local people fear retaliation. After Wang Cong is killed, Fanchou arrives furious, treats the dead abductors as the aggrieved party, and threatens Meng An, Meng You, and their guardian before learning that they belong to a far stronger Godfiend household. (Chapters 250–253)

Earth Net confines Fanchou in a sealed dungeon while investigators consider possible Skydemon connections and the exposure of the children's identities. Meng Chuan erases Fanchou's memories of the twins, replaces them with false memories, and condemns him for enabling Wang Cong's crimes. Fanchou remains imprisoned when Meng Chuan leaves; no sentence or later fate is stated. (Chapters 253–254)

Appearance and personality

No detailed physical description is given. Fanchou is quick to anger when his family's authority is challenged and becomes anxious once confronted by Marquis Godfiends. The evidence supports complicity through protection of Wang Cong, but it does not establish that he personally committed the grandson's crimes or knowingly served the Skydemon Sect. (Chapters 252–254)

Abilities and cultivation

Fanchou's position as an elder of a Regis Godfiend family is explicit, but his own cultivation realm and combat abilities are not. He cannot resist Meng Chuan's Essence Soul technique, which directly alters his memories. (Chapters 250 and 254)
