Wang Cong
Wang Cong is a grandson of Wang Fanchou whose family protection lets him commit abductions and other violent crimes in Jiang State Capital. His attempt to seize Meng You turns a hidden pattern of abuse into an investigation of privileged Godfiend descendants.
Biography
An attempted abduction exposes protected crimes
Wang Cong arranges the capture of a Dao Academy girl and then enters the confinement yard to coerce Meng You, claiming he is recruiting her for a powerful family's young master. He openly threatens the same torture and murder used against a previous victim. Meng An attacks, and the siblings kill Wang Cong and his guards while rescuing their junior sister. (Chapters 250–251)
The subsequent dossiers show that Wang Cong had committed many serious crimes and relied on his grandfather's status to avoid consequences. Liu Qiyue and Meng Chuan use the incident to investigate the wider network rather than treat his death as an isolated quarrel. The experience also makes their children more serious about cultivation and the world's injustices. (Chapters 252–263)
Appearance and personality
Wang Cong is described as pale-faced. His own words are predatory and threatening: he presents coercion as help, invokes family influence, and treats cruelty as leverage. The narrative provides no mitigating motive or internal perspective beyond entitlement and confidence in protection. (Chapter 251)
Abilities and cultivation
No cultivation realm or personal technique is stated. Wang Cong relies on armed guards, clan influence, abduction, and intimidation rather than demonstrated martial ability. He is unable to survive the resistance of the two young cultivators he tries to imprison. (Chapters 250–252)
