Qian Yu

Qian Yu is a disciple of Marquis Heavenstar and a senior sharpshooter to Liu Qiyue. His career is defined by survival at Scholartree Mountain Pass: a catastrophic battle destroys his dantian and kills his comrades, after which he accepts a dangerous experimental path to return to combat.

Biography

Pride, catastrophe, and a second cultivation path

Qian first appears as an Indestructible Godfiend who playfully challenges the still-mortal Liu Qiyue to an archery contest. Marquis Heavenstar later rebukes him and other senior disciples for complacency before they face the Nine Mystical Caves and the battlefield. Qian leaves the mountain as a Great Solar Godfiend sharpshooter with high spirits and is deployed to Scholartree Mountain Pass. (Chapters 101–124)

When the pass is overrun, every other defending Godfiend sacrifices themselves to keep Qian shooting and create a chance for him to escape. Prolonged forbidden-spell use collapses his dantian, ends his original cultivation path, and leaves him emotionally devastated. He later asks his master to help him switch to humanity's incomplete Body Tempering Godfiend lineage despite the risk of crippling or death. The procedure succeeds, costs part of his lifespan, and gives him greater head-on strength than before. (Chapters 124–125 and 188)

Appearance and personality

Qian is first seen in yellow robes and carries the bearing of someone from an ancient Godfiend family. After Scholartree, his hair is partly white and he appears haggard. His early teasing and frank apology coexist with profound survivor's grief; his later willingness to risk another path shows that he chooses renewed service over permanent withdrawal. Abilities and cultivation

As a Great Solar sharpshooter, Qian combines movement with sustained forbidden-spell archery and kills many attackers while his comrades hold the line. The same overuse destroys his dantian. Body Tempering restores him through a different foundation and improves his close combat, but the method is imperfect, consumes lifespan, and represents the current limit of that experimental human lineage.
