Liu Cheng

Liu Cheng is an Iron Palm Gang hall master who suppresses his hostility long enough to survive Feng Qi's coup, then becomes a practical officer of the renamed Peacekeeping Gang.

Biography

Adapting to Feng Qi's takeover

Liu Cheng initially presents himself as the calm hall master who will honor Qiu Yuanlang's agreement until the gang leader awakens, but Feng Qi exposes the preparations behind that restraint and repeatedly provokes him. Once Qiu's authority collapses, Liu chooses accommodation rather than Han Zuo's open resistance. He helps Du Ge bind visiting sect representatives to the Peacekeeping Alliance, carries out masked operations, proposes harsh measures against saboteurs, and investigates the remaining Heavenly Demon hidden in the gang. His adaptability preserves his rank and makes him one of the few established Iron Palm experts Du Ge can continue using. (Chapters 31–46 and 53–55)

Appearance and personality

Liu is controlled, observant, and pragmatic, though Du Ge can provoke flashes of anger. He quickly learns the new leader's political methods and offers plans that prioritize organizational survival over sentiment. (Chapters 31, 43, and 46)

Martial abilities

Liu is one of the Peacekeeping Gang's strongest conventional fighters, with ability comparable to Feng Shiyi. His competence remains ordinary martial cultivation and cannot match the attribute growth or derived skills of Alien Star warriors. (Chapter 41)

Relationships

• Du Ge: Liu moves from covert opposition to useful service, admiring Feng Qi's ability to entangle stronger organizations even while recognizing his ruthlessness.
• Qiu Yuanlang: Liu initially protects his old leader, but survival under the new order gradually outweighs restoration.
