Sun Shen Axe

The Sun Shen Axe is a weapon-form manifested from sun shen power rather than a single portable axe. Zuo Mo forms it as golden light in multiple sizes, routes it through another physical weapon when useful, and later adds the Sun Crystal Seed's flowing flames. The Five Colored Pagoda can also shape its own golden light into a sun shen axe, confirming that the name identifies a reproducible shen-power form rather than one object passed between wielders. History

Sun power takes the form of an ancient tribal axe

Zuo Mo first raises a great axe of golden light whose appearance recalls the totem warriors of the ancient Sun Tribe. He channels belief and power into it, then uses the manifested axe in a direct collision with a sword-essence wave. Later scenes make the method of appearance explicit: when Zuo Mo gathers shen power, the golden axe forms in his hand. No acquisition, sheath, storage vessel, or pre-existing physical axe is described. (Chapters 775–776 and 792)

Variable manifestations adapt to assassination and close combat

The axe is not fixed to one shape. Zuo Mo forms a thin, palm-sized throwing version marked with a fine sun glyph for an ambush, yet can also wield a massive version in close combat. When he feeds shen power into the Anti Dragon Claw, golden light extends from that weapon into a two-handed Sun Shen Axe thousands of catties in weight. The Anti Dragon Claw functions as a physical base for that attack, but it does not become, receive, or own a separate permanent axe. (Chapters 799–803)

The Five Colored Pagoda later throws off the golden light covering its body, and that light independently becomes a sun shen axe that severs Wu Ru's arm. This is not a custody transfer from Zuo Mo: the scene depicts a new manifestation made from the pagoda's own released light. Zuo Mo continues forming and throwing his versions afterward. The Sun Crystal Seed adds fire to the final manifestations

After Zuo Mo learns to integrate power from the Sun Crystal Seed, his newly formed axe carries crimson flowing flames in addition to its golden-light body. In the final conflict, he can split a thrown manifestation into tens of thousands of flaming axes and produce a more detailed orange version covered in sun glyphs. The last recorded axe is still an attack Chief Elder dodges, not a durable object left in another person's custody. (Chapters 825 and 841–843)

Abilities and properties

• Shen-power formation: The axe appears when sun shen power is gathered or projected, with golden light forming its body. The corpus does not establish a separate material core for the ordinary manifestation. (Chapters 775–776 and 792)
• Variable form and mass: It ranges from a thin palm-sized throwing axe to a crushing weapon described as tens of thousands of catties, and can become a two-handed form around the Anti Dragon Claw. (Chapters 799 and 803)
• Ranged multiplication: Zuo Mo throws the axe as a projectile and later divides one manifestation into a sky-covering rain of axes. (Chapters 799, 823, and 841)
• Sun-glyph structure: Both the compact throwing form and the strongest orange form carry detailed sun glyphs, indicating that precision of formation changes along with scale and power. (Chapters 799 and 841)
• Sun Crystal Seed amplification: Once Zuo Mo integrates the seed's power, crimson sun-flowing flames cling to the golden-light axe and intensify its burning presence. (Chapter 825)
• Manifestable by another source: The Five Colored Pagoda can turn its released golden light into the same named weapon-form, so its Chapter 821 use is an independent technique manifestation rather than evidence of shared possession. (Chapter 821)

Ownership and custody
