Anti Dragon Claw

The Anti Dragon Claw is one of the ten great sky mo weapons, a living weapon whose vast brutal power makes obtaining it easier than controlling it. Zuo Mo extracts it from beneath Great Peace City with the Three Thousand Threads of Worry, survives its attempt to turn on him, and eventually wields its compacted but revitalized form. A Gui fights beside Zuo Mo during this history but never receives custody of the claw. (Chapters 622–626, 643–651, 755, 802–803, and 812–823)

History

The weapon beneath Great Peace City

The Anti Dragon Claw lies restrained beneath the Great Peace Treasure Pavilion by the Three Thousand Threads of Worry. It appears as a monumental dragon claw with immense vitality, intelligence, and hostility. Shi Zi Ming has hidden it for years, while Wei recalls that his former master once nearly died subduing it; the claw in that earlier memory appeared in a smaller but otherwise identical form. When the claw breaks out through the pavilion, its vicious presence injures weaker people across the city. Zuo Mo assimilates a yao star core into his left palm and becomes entangled with both the claw and the Three Thousand Threads. Rather than overpowering the weapon directly, he uses the threads to restrain and shrink it, then employs it against Lin Qian and carries it on his back. This is provisional control, not yet willing submission. (Chapters 624–630)

Rebellion and forced compacting

During the battle with Marshal Yu, the claw's intelligent cold and brutal energy invades Zuo Mo and clashes with the burning Sun Crystal Seed. The conflict nearly destroys him from within. Soul Setting Divine Light and the Three Thousand Threads stabilize the struggle until the threads reach the claw's icy core; afterward the weapon contracts into a dim grey claw bracelet and initially appears unresponsive. (Chapters 643–651)

The bracelet state marks successful subduing, not the claw's destruction. Its own power and the Three Thousand Threads both fall dormant after the ordeal, and their cooperation remains essential: Zuo Mo later judges the combined system comparable to a pseudo-shen weapon, though still below a true shen device. Revitalization under Zuo Mo

The claw gradually recovers. By the campaign against Jiang Zhe, Zuo Mo can hold it by a leg bone, channel sun shen power through it, and form an immense sun shen axe. Its mixed energies have become so deeply melded that reforging it is impractical, but its obedience and destructive output make it one of his strongest weapons outside true shen devices. (Chapters 802–803 and 808)

Zuo Mo continues carrying the claw partly to protect A Gui, but the text never transfers it to her; her own Undying Ghost power is distinct. He last uses the Anti Dragon Claw offensively and defensively against Li Xian Er. No subsequent scene records loss or destruction, so the last established custody remains with Zuo Mo. (Chapters 812 and 823)

Abilities and properties

• Living sky mo weapon: The claw possesses vitality, will, and a violent instinct that can resist its bearer. It is counted among the ten great sky mo weapons rather than an ordinary forged talisman. (Chapters 622–626 and 643–651)
• Variable scale and form: It changes from a structure hundreds of zhang across to a weapon near Zuo Mo's height, then to a bracelet-like dormant state, and later to a handheld claw. These are transformations of one weapon, not separate copies. (Chapters 622–626, 651, and 802–803)
• Extreme durability and force: The claw blocks powerful sword attacks and brings crushing physical and brutal energy to close combat. Zuo Mo can route sun shen power through it to create an axe-like attack. (Chapters 626, 634–638, and 802–803)
• Control dependency: Zuo Mo initially needs the Three Thousand Threads of Worry to restrain it. Its rebellion demonstrates that possession without adequate control endangers the bearer as much as the target. (Chapters 624–626 and 643–651)
• Difficult to reforge: Its ancient materials and mingled energies resist Zuo Mo's ordinary forging methods. Revitalization and cooperation, rather than structural rebuilding, produce its later usable state. (Chapters 755 and 802–803)

Ownership and custody
