Biography

A useful rival

Thomas greets Belinda and Sophia in the Holy City but immediately treats their companion Nick as a romantic rival. Leylin Farlier deliberately performs weakness, letting Thomas believe that intimidation has worked. The vanity produces exactly the protection Leylin wants: Thomas registers him on Stewart property and uses the family's standing to shield the residence from official scrutiny. Thomas even diverts a search that might expose the disguised infiltrator, interpreting his own usefulness as proof of social dominance. (Chapters 740–747)

Failed arrest and defeat

Sophia's continuing visits turn Thomas's contempt into suspicion. During the attack on the city he uses guard authority to order Nick's arrest, uncovers the Daudet identity, and secretly signals for reinforcement before confronting him. Twin heirloom daggers and a pure bloodline give Thomas real Morning Star force, but he has neither Leylin's experience nor any understanding of the opponent's true rank. Leylin breaks through the attack and crushes his chest, leaving Thomas severely injured as the city's defences collapse. The corpus does not establish his fate afterward. (Chapters 749–754)

Appearance and personality

Thomas is a privileged young man who wears luxurious clothes and later bloodstained armour. Sheltered, boastful, lustful, and short-sighted, he uses family authority to bully weaker people and ignores strategic consequences. He retains enough cunning to signal secretly for aid and enough courage to attack when cornered. (Chapters 740–754)

Magic, bloodline, and abilities

Alabaster Devilsnake bloodline

Thomas carries a pure rank 6 Alabaster Devilsnake bloodline. Even without disciplined training comparable to an experienced Magus, that inheritance raises his life force and combat output to Morning Star level. The scene establishes inherited potential and immediate power, not refined spellcraft: Thomas relies on direct aggression and family weapons, and Leylin defeats him before a developed bloodline technique or full snake transformation is shown. (Chapter 754)

Dagger assault

His twin black daggers are high-grade magic artifacts blessed by the Snake Dowager. They let him channel the family's bloodline force into a coordinated close-range attack and are the sharpest demonstrated part of his personal offence. Because the blessing and weapon bodies are external, their output should not be described as an innate Thomas spell. His failure against Leylin also shows that high-grade equipment cannot compensate for a vast gap in rank and combat judgment. (Chapter 754)

Family authority and communications

Thomas can assign Stewart property, influence Holy City guards, and invoke the family during searches. A red-gem ring lets him send a concealed request for reinforcements. These resources make him dangerous within the city, but they depend on institutional control and a communication item; they do not expand his personal bloodline beyond Morning Star. (Chapters 741–754)
