Isadora

Biography

Journey to wizard school

Isadora travels to Silverymoon with her sister Ena and their companion Bessany, sent by minor noble families after showing wizard talent. She understands the economic barriers facing apprentices—academy fees, scarce tutors, and the need to earn money through experiments or scroll copying—and eagerly tests whether Leylin Farlier might become a useful connection (Chapters 883–884).

When goblins attack the caravan, Isadora exhausts her few spell slots and begins to panic. Ena keeps her from being dragged away until Leylin destroys the attackers. In Silverymoon, Isadora quickly turns from the ordeal to comparing colleges and later enrols at Oakleaf with the others (Chapters 885–887).

Workshop assistant

Isadora joins Ena and Bessany as a paid assistant in Leylin's alchemy workshop, helping acquire reagents and sell finished products while attempting to practise alchemy. She reacts openly to his wealth and celebrates when he gives Bessany personal instruction, although Leylin largely ignores Isadora during technical demonstrations. When war begins, her family orders both sisters home. The only later update is Bessany's comparison placing Isadora and Ena at rank 3 (Chapters 887–906).

Appearance and personality

Isadora resembles Ena and initially wears a blue checkered skirt with small flowers along its edge. She is bright, talkative, excitable, and economically observant, recognising an exclusive wealth card on sight. She is also impulsive and less composed than Ena, shifting quickly between social ambition, panic, and enthusiasm.

Magic, bloodline, and abilities

Isadora begins as an apprentice connected to the first level of the Weave and can cast rank 0 spells. The goblin attack demonstrates the strict limit on that level: she has only a few slots, the cantrips are weak unless they strike directly, and she becomes defenceless when they are exhausted. The text does not name which spells she cast (Chapters 883, 885).

She is later described indirectly as a rank 3 wizard. Although she uses Leylin's laboratory and attempts to learn alchemy, she lacks a mentor's guidance and shows no completed alchemical product or personal technique. No special bloodline, signature spell, or individual magic item is established (Chapters 889, 906).
