Biography

Blood Duchess of the Ouroboros Clan

Emma first appears at the Azure Mountain auction, where she mocks Cyril and drives up the price of an astral stone before abruptly withdrawing. The maneuver costs her nothing while forcing a rival to expose how badly he needs astral material. Her reputation for savage, unpredictable behavior makes even other Morning Stars hesitate to answer the humiliation directly. As Freya's mentor and second elder of the Ouroboros Clan, she also has a direct interest in the family's future bloodline. (Chapter 458)

Emma, Gilbert, and the first elder pursue what may be a route toward Purgatory, only for Jupiter's Lightning to misdirect and trap them in the Lava World. Emma's astral gate remains functional, but interference prevents the clan from recovering coordinates. The soul-flame thread in Freya's necklace weakens as Emma is injured, giving the Magus World evidence that she remains alive but in danger. (Chapters 472, 493, 511, 540–543)

Triserpent Sect in the Lava World

Emma and Gilbert escape their captors, then choose not to return immediately because firasource stones can amplify soul force. With Radiant Moon Zegna unable to enter the suppressive foreign world personally, they exploit the gap between his distant influence and local Morning Star agents. They build the Triserpent Sect among oppressed races while simultaneously obtaining Atlan Union titles, deliberately leaking some rebel information to make their noble identities credible. Emma operates as Viscount Flower. (Chapters 559–568)

Passing as an Emberwing requires more than clothing. Emma remodels bloodline appearance into red feathers, conceals Kemoyin radiation, and uses formations, hypnosis, and spiritual pressure to secure meetings. The double position gives the trio intelligence, local resources, and access to the Holy Solar Day defenses. It also makes the Triserpent Sect partly expendable: Emma and Gilbert are willing to sacrifice pieces of the rebellion to protect their deeper operation. (Chapters 560–571)

The operation uncovers a Blackfire Phoenix egg and erupts into conflict with the world's rulers. Emma identifies spatial-binding, sacrificial, and life-absorption runes around the egg while helping prepare the return gate. She and Gilbert are Morning Stars, but the arriving Radiant Moon and local peak ruler are beyond them; Leylin holds those powers off while their formations create the escape route. Tactical specialization, rather than equal strength, allows all three to return. (Chapters 570–577)

Leylin's transformed body is about three times the scale of Emma's Kemoyin manifestation and can kill Zegna's clone. Emma therefore accepts that the newly advanced junior has surpassed both elders in practical battle force. She and Gilbert let him lead negotiations after their return, shifting authority before his formal rank rises further because clan survival depends on recognizing actual strength. (Chapters 577–579)

Restoration and allegiance

Emma joins Leylin's counterattack against Jupiter's Lightning's dependents. At Greenflame City she calls an immemorial flame elf and creates a city-scale rain of fire, then releases self-propagating serpent spores that erupt from infected bodies. Gilbert and Emma stabilize space while Leylin kills or drives off enemy Morning Stars, preventing teleportation effects from tearing apart the battlefield. The campaign restores territory through deliberately overwhelming retaliation rather than a negotiated return to the earlier armistice. (Chapters 581–582)

She then counsels Leylin about the risks of pursuing still higher powers and comforts Freya during his absences. Her instruction remains bluntly bloodline-centered: Leylin's exceptionally pure inheritance should be preserved through descendants. Concern for her student and strategic breeding policy are not separate motives in a clan whose power literally degrades with each generation. (Chapters 584–586, 648)

After Leylin's bloodline evolves beyond the Kemoyin Emperor, Emma and Gilbert sense him as the progenitor of their line and kneel. The submission is partly political but also biological: his origin-level bloodline can perceive and pressure every Kemoyin descendant. Emma helps occupy the Eternal River pocket dimension, integrate southern resources, and consider astral-gate links for faster travel. Her last role is therefore elder-administrator under a new bloodline sovereign rather than independent clan ruler. (Chapters 617, 629, 648, 669, 766–768)

Appearance and personality

Emma is presented as a mature female Warlock whose presence carries the authority of a duchess and Morning Star. In the Lava World she can manifest sparkling red feathers to support an Emberwing disguise. (Chapters 458 and 560)

She is blunt, mocking, ruthless toward enemies, and deeply practical. Her cold recommendation to kill Bowens follows from the judgment that ordinary contracts cannot reliably restrain a Morning Star without lengthy preparation. This severity coexists with genuine concern for Freya, Gilbert, Leylin, and the clan. Emma accepts shifts in hierarchy quickly when strength and survival demand it.

Magic, bloodline, and abilities

Morning Star core and soul flame

Emma is a Rank 4 Morning Star Giant Kemoyin Warlock. Her condensed point mass sustains a solidified truesoul and enough reserves for city-scale spells, spatial stabilization, and astral travel. A separated thread of soul flame remains linked to her body: injury weakens the flame in Freya's necklace, making it a remote life-and-condition signal rather than an independent combat clone. (Chapters 458, 493, 540–543)

Giant Kemoyin transformation

Her four innate bloodline spells combine into the Morning Star transformation associated with Kemoyin's Pupil. It produces the body, scales, poison affinity, Eye of Petrification, and physical force of an ancient Giant Kemoyin Serpent. Size and purity still vary among users; Leylin's peak form is roughly three times Emma's, so sharing a final technique does not equalize output. (Chapters 577, 617)

Bloodline remodeling and infiltration

As a bloodline grandmaster, Emma can alter outward traits and radiation until red feathers let her pass as an Emberwing noble. Concealment formations, hypnosis, and spiritual pressure support the identity by controlling witnesses and meeting spaces. The disguise is effective against local administration but does not permanently convert her lineage or grant the full Fireplume cultivation path. (Chapters 560–571)

Immemorial flame-elf invocation

Emma chants to an ancient flame elf and draws a massive tide of elemental particles into dense burning clouds. The resulting rain covers a city-scale area, making it useful for siege and punishment rather than precise rescue. It requires sufficient ambient fire energy and preparation, and indiscriminate coverage endangers structures and low-ranked inhabitants alongside military targets. (Chapter 581)

Serpent spores and proliferating infection

Her snake-shaped spores attach to a body, raise explosive growths, and release further spores when those growths burst. This turns each infected target into a vector and lets one cast spread through a dense city. The spell's strength lies in propagation, not an unavoidable hit against peers; a Morning Star able to isolate, purge, or evade the initial spore can prevent the chain. (Chapter 581)

Spatial control and astral gates

Emma owns an astral gate capable of transporting physical bodies between worlds when supplied with correct coordinates and Morning Star power. She can help construct return gates and stabilize nearby space during clashes among high-ranked beings. Interference can erase coordinates even when the gate itself is undamaged, while world suppression and hostile rulers make opening a path much more dangerous than ordinary teleportation. Formations and magical analysis

Emma recognizes undead, sacrificial, spatial-binding, and life-absorption formations and can set concealment boundaries suitable for covert Morning Star meetings. This expertise lets her identify what a structure is doing and support a counteroperation. It does not automatically give control of a formation whose key or origin belongs to another ruler. (Chapters 564, 570–575)

Relationships

• Freya: Emma’s beloved student; she protects Freya and urges her to preserve Leylin’s bloodline.
• Gilbert: Fellow Ouroboros elder, captive, conspirator, and long-term battlefield partner.
