Biography

Ambition reversed into public defeat

Yu Zu races toward Sector Eleven imagining that capturing the Shadow Dragon will make him a hero comparable to Raymond, so the devastation already surrounding Leo fails to overcome his pride. He attacks instead of reassessing and is disarmed, stripped, and captured almost immediately. Leo then tortures and records him, using the commander's pleas to provoke Nemo's forces into attacking in waves while Yu Zu listens to their fleet's destruction from his restraints. Leo finally executes him and releases the footage; the public humiliation turns Yu Zu's search for fame into evidence of Nemo's defeat and a warning to the wider government. (Chapters 816–820, 826)

Appearance and personality

Yu Zu is male, but the corpus provides no detailed stable appearance before his injuries and captivity. He is status-conscious, boastful, and eager for public recognition, calling himself “the great Yu Zu” even after seeing thousands of dead soldiers. Abilities and power progression

Yu Zu can fly, project a strong mana aura, and channel sword energy into Cleaver Cut, a long-distance blade-light attack powerful enough to carve a deep scar into the ground.
