Biography

Pressure as a training method

Marvin receives Leo's exceptional evaluation data with a mandate to develop rather than admire it. He imposes penalty laps, weighted drills, and exhaustion work severe enough that students trade stories about his refusal to excuse even injury; when Alric Dainhart demands that Leo and Su Yang be driven to collapse, Marvin intensifies the regimen instead of protecting their comfort. The approach makes him feared and can look cruel, but it contributes directly to Leo reaching the physical requirements for Grandmaster advancement. Appearance and personality
