Ladina Horizon is the CEO and part-owner of the Horizon Dominion Group, which sponsors Leo during his rise through the Circuits.

Biography

Protecting an investment until it becomes a liability

Ladina first shields Leo from damaging publicity because his success benefits Horizon, treating legal intervention and reputation management as investments in a rising star. When he decides to leave Rodova, she tries persuasion, financial alternatives, and finally leverage from the criminal record her group secretly erased, because his departure threatens a major advertising campaign. Leo turns that threat back on her by pointing out that exposing him would also expose Horizon's tampering, forcing her to withdraw. When he is later revealed as a Cult operative, Ladina immediately denounces him to keep the scandal from consuming the company. Her actions consistently prioritize institutional survival over personal loyalty, and her later fate is not shown. (Chapters 182, 237–241, 390)

Appearance and personality

Ladina is a relatively short woman with shiny black hair streaked blue and arranged in a clean bun. She wears polished business clothes, maintains manicured hands, and can appear beautiful, commanding, and cold at once. Her persuasive warmth is calculated rather than wholly false: she recognizes real dangers in Leo's decision, but shifts to intimidation when reason cannot secure the commercial outcome she wants. Abilities and power progression

Ladina's demonstrated abilities are corporate and political. She can mobilize public-relations staff, fund talent, negotiate sponsorships, and direct covert record-cleaning through Horizon's money and contacts. Those methods are powerful but vulnerable to disclosure: Leo defeats her leverage by threatening to reveal the same corruption protecting him. The corpus establishes no cultivation tier, combat technique, supernatural power, or personal power progression. (Chapters 182, 237–240, 390)
