Della is a young Grandmaster in Captain Reema's expedition party who survives its disastrous encounter with the corrupted Karl.

Biography

Holding a stronger enemy long enough to survive

Della fights under pressure against a Transcendent whose mutated body resists ordinary wounds and who is rapidly killing her squad. She first obeys Reema's order to keep Karl off balance, then recognizes that their attacks cannot penetrate him and argues for retreat; when escape proves impossible, she commits to the coordinated stand. Her Meteor Bind successfully arrests Karl long enough for the party to attack, but his strength breaks the formation and leaves Della wounded and unconscious. Leo kills Karl, gives her a recovered healing potion, and carries her to safety. Della later departs with Reema alive, though the corpus does not confirm whether they eventually escape the world. Appearance and personality

Della is described as younger than Reema and is last seen in blood-soaked robes after the battle. She is alert enough to identify Karl's lack of bleeding and practical enough to recommend retreat once the tier gap becomes clear. When Reema decides they must stand, Della follows the coordinated plan rather than abandoning the party, showing discipline alongside caution. (Chapters 332–335)

Abilities and power progression

Della is identified within a Grandmaster expedition and fights with a spear. Blazing Feint ignites the spear and uses speed and misdirection to graze Karl; Burning Arc Step condenses mana beneath her feet for a fast circular flank; Meteor Bind converts that momentum into burning chains that descend and restrain the target's limbs. The bind lands on a Transcendent but cannot hold Karl against his full strength, demonstrating a clear tier-based limitation. No mana cost, ranged variant, defensive skill, or later progression is established. (Chapters 332–333)
