Alia is Luke Skyshard's longtime partner and the mother of Leonardo, anchoring the extended Skyshard household across its migrations and long life.

Biography

Building a family amid repeated evacuations

Alia meets danger as a practical protector: she keeps a blade ready, remains beside the injured Luke, and prepares to defend the household when powerful visitors arrive. During the Ghost Protocol evacuation she balances survival planning with the needs of pregnancy, helping carry the family into the Cult rather than allowing fear to separate them. Raising Leonardo then changes her role from fighter-partner to experienced parent and adviser; she later counsels Amanda about marriage and fatherhood from what she learned with Luke. Both eventually reach the Transcendent tier and gain another century, but Alia still dies of natural lifespan after Amanda and Luke, leaving a preserved projection in Skyshard Hall. Appearance and personality

Alia is described with black hair threaded by silver and a sturdy bearing. She is affectionate toward Luke but not passive, maintaining weapons and responding quickly to threats. Her evacuation priorities can appear domestic—such as insisting on pregnancy supplies—but they reflect practical responsibility for a child rather than denial of danger. Alia is shown handling and sharpening a blade, but the corpus does not name an early technique or provide a detailed combat scene. She is later explicitly counted among the Transcendents whose advancement extended their lives by at least another century.
