Toji

Toji is an elite humanoid monster created by Orden, recognizable by the rock composing both hands.

Biography

The attack on London

Orden names Toji among four new elite servants and sends him to London as part of a coordinated international attack. Toji assaults Buckingham Palace and clashes with Evandel's summoned Fenrir, crushing the wolf and throwing it through the city battle with enormous physical force. Unlike the other dispatched monsters, he does not return to Orden's palace. Heroes subdue him and confine him in an Illusory Prison maintained by a large magical force; later observers gather around the sealed captive while Chae Joochul demonstrates the prison's resilience. Toji's defeat ends his immediate rampage but leaves Evandel shaken by her inability to protect Fenrir from injury. (Chapters 270, 272–273, 275, 277, 279, 282, 290)

Appearance and personality

Toji otherwise resembles a human, but both hands are made of rock. His behavior during the London attack is blunt and destructive, with little of the elaborate speech shown by more independent humanoid monsters. (Chapters 272–273)

Gifts and abilities

His rock hands and immense strength let him grapple, crush, and throw powerful magical creatures. Containing him requires an Illusory Prison sustained by many magicians. (Chapters 272–273, 277, 279)

Relationships

Toji obeys Orden as creator and king. His most consequential clash is with Fenrir, whose injuries deeply affect Evandel even after the summon heals. (Chapters 270, 272–273, 290)
