Kiri

Kiri is Henry's younger sister and a perceptive apprentice in Kim Hajin's Tower shop.

Biography

Growing up in Hajin's shop

Kiri is a twelve-year-old orphan surviving in the Tower with her older brother Henry when Hajin offers them food and a safer future. She is quicker than Henry to show energy and curiosity, yet understands the hardships that made him wary. At Hajin's shop she takes naturally to dealing with customers, learns from the material he provides, and helps turn the waiting room into a functioning home and business. Her acquisition of Sharp Eyes complements that responsibility. The arrangement gives Kiri more than protection: it lets her exercise judgment, develop skills, and form a loyal household around someone who treats the siblings as people worth teaching. Appearance and personality

Kiri is twelve and initially bears the signs of inadequate food. She is lively, quick-witted, sociable, and more willing than Henry to express excitement, traits that help her thrive in customer-facing work. (Chapters 169–172, 176, 181–190)

Gifts and abilities

Kiri develops Sharp Eyes and studies Hajin's instructional material, including the Law of Thinking. She also proves perceptive and capable in the daily operation of the shop. (Chapters 184–190, 202, 208)

Relationships

Henry is her protective older brother and closest companion. Hajin becomes her guardian, teacher, and employer, while the shop's customers give her a wider social role within the Tower. (Chapters 169–190, 202, 208)
