Henry is a Tower orphan who becomes Kim Hajin's ward, apprentice, and shop worker.

Biography

A home in the Tower

Henry is an orphaned boy living with his younger sister Kiri in the Tower of Wish. Malnutrition and the danger surrounding unprotected residents have made him cautious, especially when a stranger offers food, but his suspicion is rooted in protecting Kiri rather than hostility. Hajin gives the siblings meals, shelter, and work at his shop, replacing short-term charity with a stable place where they can contribute. Henry learns from Hajin's books and instruction, helps handle customers and household duties, and becomes a loyal young vassal. By the Tower's end, the wary child who once had to test every kindness has gained security, education, and a trusted guardian. (Chapters 169–170, 172, 176, 181, 184–190, 202, 208, 248)

Appearance and personality

Henry is thirteen when Hajin takes the siblings in and initially shows the thin build of a child who has gone without enough food. He is protective, serious, and cautious, but becomes diligent and openly loyal once trust is earned. (Chapters 169–172, 176, 181)

Gifts and abilities

Henry has strong growth potential and studies the Law of Thinking under Hajin's care. His practical abilities include reading customers, learning shop work, and adapting quickly to the Tower's systems. (Chapters 184–190, 202, 208)

Relationships

Kiri is Henry's first priority and the reason behind much of his early caution. Hajin becomes employer, teacher, and guardian, while Henry repays that stability through work and loyalty. (Chapters 169–190, 202, 208)
