Biography
A brother-in-law in the sect’s affairs
When Li Xizhi takes charge of Changtian Peak, Ruizao offers to gather information about its history and explains the obscure Whole Pill Dao techniques behind its inherited method. As the sect mobilizes for war, he helps interpret deployment decisions, warns Xizhi not to miss his assignment, and brings younger Yang relatives into Li Xuanfeng’s expedition. His advice combines family loyalty with a clear grasp of the political stakes. (Chapters 736, 743–744 and 748)

Later, he accompanies Xizhi to seek out their family elder He Ting and asks him to return to the Azure Pond Sect to see his old companions. Ruizao’s familiarity with both families lets him turn a difficult request into a personal visit, and he is still traveling with Xizhi when they leave for the south. (Chapters 898 and 902–904)
