Xiangchun

Xiangchun is the mistress of Changliu Mountain, a Valley Water cultivator closely connected to Bei Sea Dragon King Dongfang Lieyun.

Biography

Dragon patronage and the Wanlin treasures

Lieyun summons Li Zhouwei because Xiangchun needs White Qilin blood for her divine ability. She remains beside the Dragon King as he announces that he will take Zhouwei and later send her refined blood; once they depart, she privately celebrates the promise. Her relationship with Lieyun gives her powerful support, but it is socially awkward: he already has a dragon wife, and others can use Xiangchun’s position to insult her. (Chapters 1254 and 1577)

In Wanlin Heaven, Xiangchun contests treasures initially seized by Zong Chang and later pursues Helian Wujiang because he has taken the spoils for himself. She intends to force a compromise rather than defeat him outright. Zhouwei’s intervention transforms the confrontation, and her pearl’s protection and Dawnless Deceit help obstruct Wujiang’s resistance. Grateful for the assistance, she introduces Daoist Master Yuming and invites Zhouwei to explore the grand formation farther east. (Chapters 1577 and 1580–1581)

Xiangchun guides Zhouwei toward the formation, sharing knowledge of northern lineages, powerful cultivators and the dragon world. When they find Si Yuanli under attack, she agrees to watch Zhouwei’s back but warns that she cannot wait indefinitely once the formation opens. Her calculations track its changing condition; she explains that True Monarchs outside are lifting the Exalted Yang Immutable Palace before the inner barrier can be breached. After the expedition, she stands alongside Lieyun while the great powers discuss Wanlin’s stripped ruins. (Chapters 1582–1585 and 1597)

Appearance and personality

She has an innocent, delicate face and wears gauzy robes. Her outward softness accompanies reserve toward other cultivators, a desire for valuable spoils and sensitivity to insults about her relationship with Lieyun. She treats Zhouwei more gently after their shared battle. (Chapters 1254, 1577 and 1581)

Abilities and cultivation

Xiangchun is a mid-stage Purple Mansion cultivator of Valley Water Dao, skilled at self-preservation, healing and escape but limited in direct offense. She seeks White Qilin blood for her divine ability. Protected by a precious pearl, she uses gray wind and Dawnless Deceit to delay opponents; the effect can return after seeming dispelled, while the pearl’s Valley Water radiance clears illusions and freezes baleful energy.
