Guan Lingdie

Guan Lingdie is Guan Gongxiao’s younger sister and a direct-lineage cultivator of the Capital Immortal Dao. Her encounters with the Li Family develop from cautious hostility into restrained pressure and an exchange that returns An Siwei from captivity. (Chapters 1091–1096, 1177, 1302)

Biography

From river rivalry to a negotiated return

Lingdie fights beside her brother in the Capital Immortal Dao’s river conflict with the Li Family, but earlier clashes have taught her to fear Li Zhouwei. Rather than meet him directly, she turns toward the weaker Qu Buzhi and orders others to intercept when Zhouwei sends his fiery banner against her. Her caution does not prevent a decisive intervention: a white dart turns aside Zhouwei’s halberd long enough for Gongxiao to escape. After their defeat she comforts her brother by comparing Zhouwei to other exceptional talents whose advantages ordinary cultivators cannot easily overcome. Protecting him matters more than proving herself through a dangerous personal duel. (Chapters 1091, 1093, 1096)

When she later leads six cultivators against Floating South, Lingdie’s manner toward Li Minggong is noticeably softer. She calls the confrontation an exchange of pointers and retreats in measured steps when Li Chenghuai joins his sister, holding back rather than pressing a lethal advantage. Minggong recognizes that the attack is largely a diversion aimed at Profound Peak Gate. Lingdie subsequently comes as an envoy to recover the Capital Dao Bell, offering An Siwei’s return in exchange. She recites an explanation blaming earlier conflicts on Profound Peak Gate and Changxiao; Minggong suspects her fluent defense was prepared by Gongxiao. Once An is confirmed unharmed and healed, she receives the bell and leaves relieved. Her later reassignment to the Eastern Sea ends her immediate presence on this frontier without establishing a lasting reconciliation between the factions. (Chapters 1160, 1164, 1177, 1302)

Appearance and personality

Lingdie wears colorful robes and is noted for her beauty. Her initially sharp expression softens during the later conflict, while awkward politeness at the exchange gives way to visibly childlike relief when negotiations proceed. She is cautious about Zhouwei, devoted to her brother, and capable of moderating hostility when her gate’s aims call for restraint. (Chapters 1096, 1160, 1177, 1301–1302)

Abilities and cultivation

Lingdie’s white dart can deflect Zhouwei’s incoming halberd, buying Gongxiao time to scatter its radiance and escape. She also dissolves her body like mist when Chenghuai attacks from the shadows. Her power exceeds Minggong’s in their encounter, but she deliberately holds back; when fighting both siblings, she retreats in controlled steps rather than trying to kill either. These are demonstrated defensive and tactical applications, while the names and operating principles of her underlying cultivation methods remain unknown. (Chapters 1096, 1164)

  • Guan Gongxiao: Elder brother who dotes on her; she saves him in battle and comforts him after defeat. (Chapters 1096, 1302)
  • Li Minggong: Opponent and negotiating partner in the exchange for An Siwei. (Chapters 1160–1164, 1177)

Items

Lingdie uses a white dart to protect Gongxiao from Zhouwei’s halberd. She later takes custody of the Capital Dao Bell on behalf of her gate after its exchange for An Siwei; the bell’s recovery is a factional errand rather than a personal acquisition. (Chapters 1096, 1177)
