Fuxuan

Fuxuan is a cautious Chunyi Dao Gate elder whose choices are shaped by stewardship of his lineage’s ancestral treasures and old ties to Chi Buzi. (Chapters 1381–1382, 1548–1549)

Biography

Guarding Chunyi’s inheritance

When Chi Buzi visits Chunyi Dao Gate, Fuxuan receives him in the absence of Yuanshang. He is willing to test Chi’s claim by bringing out the Supreme Circuit Spirit Mirror, but stresses that the ancestral treasure cannot be moved without cause and asks Chi to wait while the gate completes its rites. His caution reflects the responsibility of protecting the lineage’s inheritance while weighing whether Chi has truly rediscovered the ancestor’s Dao. (Chapters 1381–1382)

Old ties and difficult choices

Fuxuan later welcomes Chi Buzi back after years of worrying about the gate members who traveled east with him. A portion of Supreme Yin Moonlight had earlier helped Fuxuan form his second divine ability, and he remains eager to learn what Chi has found. He also lends Stellar Divine Origin to Hengxing against the Suzhu Reefs, only later realizing that the arrangement left his gate guarding the reefs during Hengzhu’s withdrawal. Though he retains old affection for Chi, Fuxuan draws a firm line when their judgments diverge. (Chapters 1456–1459, 1547–1549)

Appearance and personality

Fuxuan wears moon-white Daoist robes and is described as a middle-aged man with the well-kept hands of a longtime swordsman. He is measured and protective of his gate, but his restraint cannot conceal how strongly ancestral treasures and his old friendship with Chi Buzi matter to him. (Chapters 1456–1457, 1548)

Abilities and cultivation

Fuxuan is a Daoist Master with years of sword training. Supreme Yin Moonlight formed his second divine ability, whose specific effects remain unknown. (Chapters 1456–1457)
