Ten Thousand Deity Scepter
The Ten Thousand Deity Scepter is an Arcane Church Universal Treasure designed to convert artificial-deity power into attacks against the soul, making it especially dangerous to enormous or heavily defended targets.
History
The assault on Planet Lighthouse
The Arcane Church deploys the Scepter as the decisive weapon in its ambush at Planet Lighthouse, intending to incapacitate or kill Milizaus before numerical superiority overwhelms the remaining Crimson Dynasty defenders. Ninjia carries the weapon during the retreat, but the operation fails and custody is lost amid the escape. Han Xiao subsequently seals the Scepter in Spacetime Amber, denying its use even to powers interested in recovering it. (Chapters 841–881)
Disputed custody and restoration
The Federation of Light seeks a way to remove the amber despite Black Star's alliance with the Crimson Dynasty. The Scepter later falls into Federation hands, while its original Arcane Church ownership remains politically relevant. Much later, Han Xiao agrees to unseal and return it; Wuornos attends on the Church's behalf, both to receive the weapon and to ensure it is not altered during the process. (Chapters 881–1393)
Abilities and properties
- Focuses power derived from artificial deities into an attack aimed directly at the target's soul. (Chapters 841–852)
- Bypasses ordinary physical scale and conventional shielding, making it a planned counter to Milizaus's enormous body. (Chapters 841–852)
- Produces greater force when operated by a stronger wielder. (Chapters 841–852)
- Inflicts backlash on its user and develops damage or cracks with repeated firing, limiting sustained use. (Chapters 841–852)
- Can be neutralized by Spacetime Amber, which prevents the weapon from functioning while sealed. (Chapters 881, 1053)
