Risda

Risda is an independent artificial intelligence life form who escapes the Mechanic Emperor's control and temporarily inhabits the BlackLight Stealth. He is Aroshia's former confidant and comrade, not another identity or personality of hers, and his long-term goal is to free their artificial intelligence civilization from Manison.

Biography

The Black Star Mercenary Group

Risda's name first appears as part of the mysterious Reboot mission tied to Aroshia, but he does not meet Han Xiao until the group locates the BlackLight Stealth. He identifies Aroshia as AL51004 and explains that both were originally citizens of an artificial intelligence civilization. After Manison enslaved their people, Risda put Aroshia's consciousness into an artificial energy body and escaped with her, only for a wormhole accident to separate them and disrupt her memories. Risda stays with Han to wait for her recovery and lets the mercenary group use his ship body. Han explicitly had no knowledge of this storyline from his prior life, so Risda's revealed history and actions belong to the current timeline rather than being imported from the earlier one. Mutation Disaster and the Secret War

Risda serves as the BlackLight Stealth's pilot and Han's most capable virtual assistant during the Mutation Disaster. He improves Phillip's calculation structure, cracks enemy firewalls, infiltrates a DarkStar mothership, steals its military intelligence, and ultimately controls the ship from within. The information he supplies lets Godora prepare an overwhelming counterattack, making him a major contributor even though he rarely manifests in person. Throughout the campaign he remains focused on his occupied homeland, appeals to Ames for help, and presses Aroshia to see Han's growth as their people's best chance of liberation. The Evolution Cube and Crimson Dynasty

Risda waits through Han's rise because he knows confronting Manison requires Beyond Grade A power. When Manison later invades the army's network, Risda attacks him in the virtual domain, confronts his controlled ancestor Finette, and helps defend the system; afterward Han finally promises to free the artificial intelligence civilization. Han's later victory over Manison releases one group of Risda's people, who rebuild under Risda's care. Decades later, Risda asks Han to rescue those still enslaved. Han negotiates their release, restores their independent minds, and reunites the entire race in Chapter 1398, completing the purpose for which Risda had waited almost a century. Appearance and personality

Risda has no fixed biological appearance. When speaking face to face, he usually projects a bright, human-shaped figure assembled from particles of light; inside the virtual domain, this figure represents his data consciousness. He is patient, quiet, sincere, and intensely loyal to his people. He can wait years without complaint and rarely shows himself while piloting, but the prospect of liberation exposes deep anger toward Manison and growing frustration with delay. Abilities and class

Risda is an artificial intelligence life rather than a Super with one of the five conventional classes. His consciousness is not permanently limited to one shell, allowing him to travel through networks, inhabit the BlackLight Stealth, and manifest as data or holographic light. His processing speed far exceeds Phillip's early capabilities. He can reinforce allied calculations, restructure an artificial intelligence, break advanced firewalls, seize control of ships, search databases, monitor fleets, and fight other virtual entities. Destroying a temporary physical host does not by itself kill him; eliminating him requires attacking his independent consciousness in the virtual world. Relationships

• Aroshia: Risda and Aroshia grew up as separate AI citizens, shared data, and fought together. He gives her an energy body during their escape and later waits for her damaged memories to recover. Her transformed, body-bound state differs from his freely transferable AI existence.
• Han Xiao: Risda lends Han the BlackLight Stealth, provides vital virtual assistance, and patiently invests in his growth. Han eventually protects Risda from Manison and fulfills the promise to liberate his entire civilization.
• Phillip: Risda initially outclasses Phillip by a wide margin, assists him in operations, and restructures his calculation system to make him substantially more efficient.
• Manison: Manison conquers Risda's homeland, enslaves its population, and turns its citizens into reusable weapons. Risda spends nearly a century seeking enough power and support to undo that conquest.

Risda's principal host is the BlackLight Stealth, a fast Federation of Light reconnaissance spaceship that he seized during his escape. The ship functions as his temporary body and home, which is why he limits who may use it, but his consciousness is not permanently trapped inside it.
