Kasuyi

Kasuyi, known as the Void Overlord, is the Arcane Church's foremost Psychic and one of the oldest peak Beyond Grade As of the explored universe. His immense power makes him a strategic deterrent, but his greater importance lies in the independence behind that power: he repeatedly balances obligations to the church against his dislike of coercion, then becomes one of the earliest senior Supers to support Han Xiao in securing revival and political autonomy for their shared class.

Biography

The Flickering World

Kasuyi enters the Flickering World era as an established power rather than an aspiring one. He appears through a doppelganger beside Manison and Gorutan as an emissary to Sorokin, and his name is already treated as one of the few individual forces that even major civilizations cannot dismiss. At Han Xiao's Meeting of the Gods, he understands that the invitation is backed by both Black Star's strength and his willingness to punish anyone who destabilizes the Shattered Star Ring. Kasuyi therefore counsels the Arcane Church's allies to attend instead of turning wounded pride into an unnecessary confrontation. (Chapters 915, 991, and 1003–1008)

That caution is not submission. When the Arcane Church pays him to support an operation against the newly advanced Hila, Kasuyi refuses to treat the assignment as permission to bully a junior Beyond Grade A. He sends only a doppelganger, secretly allows parts of Han Xiao's mechanical army through his defenses, and abandons the pretense when hidden forbidden-spell scrolls place Hila in genuine danger. After the Federation of Light arrives intending to abduct her, Kasuyi attacks the federation's force and frames his intervention as protection of the church's Ten Thousand Deity Scepter. Doppelgangers

Kasuyi can dispatch a doppelganger that carries part of his main body's combat power, allowing him to attend negotiations or dangerous operations without exposing his true body. The projection is strong enough to suppress Han Xiao's Lord's Avatar, restrain a mechanical army, contend with Sierron, and rescue allied Beyond Grade As.
