Karlot

Karlot is an initially unremarkable Crimson Dynasty cadet whose patient pursuit of martial arts eventually awakens the growth talent Everlasting Martial Path. Han Xiao, remembering the extraordinary Pugilist Karlot became in a previous timeline, quietly protects his opportunity to develop and later recruits him into the Black Star Army. Karlot reaches Beyond Grade A before the World Tree War ends.

Biography

Intelligent Plague and the Association

Karlot first meets Han as an honest, awkward freshman at a dynasty academy. He has not awakened as a Super and declines an invitation to the Black Star Army because his father sent him to study for the academy's benefits rather than to become a fighter. Han recognizes his name from a previous timeline but does not force him onto the remembered path, leaving contact information instead. More than twenty years later, Karlot is only a Grade C Pugilist and low-ranking dynasty soldier, yet he remains friendly, patient, and devoted to training despite ridicule and slow promotion. Han's old endorsement eventually secures him a place at an elite training base even though his record appears entirely ordinary. References to Karlot's future peak in this phase are Han's memories, not achievements Karlot has already performed in the current timeline. (Chapters 932–933, 1056, 1060, 1144, 1179, and 1210)

Sanctum Revival and the Super Crisis

After years of hovering near disqualification, Karlot is finally expelled from the elite base when its managers withdraw the protection attached to Han's recommendation. The setback does not mean that his potential has vanished: Karlot has only recently found the correct training method. Han tracks him down, subdues him, and persuades him to transfer from the dynasty military to the Black Star Army, where an inspection confirms the growth talent Everlasting Martial Path. Lothaire then gives him sustained practical instruction on a secret training planet. Karlot absorbs the martial knowledge rapidly, turning the end of his stagnant military career into the beginning of the development Han had anticipated. (Chapters 1248, 1266–1269, 1272, and 1314–1315)

The World Tree War

Karlot continues training with Lothaire while the war develops and advances to Beyond Grade A before Chapter 1403, although Han conceals the breakthrough so he can accumulate more experience. Once deployed, Karlot saves Lothaire and kills a Holy Tree Emissary with Martial Deity Fist—Galaxy Severance, demonstrating that his new rank is an actual present-timeline achievement. He later rides Silver Shadow into enemy ships during the coordinated assault. Earlier accounts of Karlot killing World Tree experts or combining with Silver Shadow belong to Han's previous-life knowledge and are not direct evidence of the current Karlot's actions. After the victory, Han considers him a likely future pillar and Pugilist Department leader, but those are expectations rather than offices already held. Karlot's latest direct scene shows him alive in the Supers Holy Land, seeking extreme training conditions and arranging to spar with Evans. (Chapters 1322, 1383, 1403, 1424, 1430, 1437, 1446, and 1449)

Appearance and personality

Karlot is a Galaxy Human with an honest face. As a student he appears naive, clumsy, and ordinary; decades later he is muscular and wears a low-grade dynasty officer's uniform. He is unusually patient with slow progress and mockery, genuinely enjoys training, and remains modest and approachable even after his talent begins to emerge. (Chapters 932, 1060, 1179, 1248, and 1272)

Abilities and class

Karlot develops from an unawakened student into a Grade C Pugilist, then a Calamity Grade, and finally a Beyond Grade A Pugilist. His core growth talent, Everlasting Martial Path, lets sustained martial practice continually deepen his foundations. At Beyond Grade A he creates Martial Deity Fist; its two known stances are extremely powerful but consume enormous energy. Martial Deity Fist—Galaxy Severance instantly kills a Holy Tree Emissary, while his listed talents include Martial Saint's Strength, Martial Deity Fist's Ancestor, and One Punch Martial Deity. (Chapters 932, 1060, 1269, 1315, 1403, and 1424)

Relationships

  • Han Xiao: Han remembers Karlot's previous-timeline potential, protects his opportunity without dictating his early choice, and later recruits and trains him when the dynasty gives up on him. (Chapters 932, 1144, 1266–1269, and 1403)
  • Lothaire: Lothaire provides Karlot with intensive practical training. Karlot later enters the World Tree battlefield beside him and saves him from a Holy Tree Emissary. (Chapters 1315, 1383, and 1424)
  • Silver Shadow: Karlot uses Silver Shadow's high-speed form to penetrate enemy ships in the current war. Han also remembers a much later partnership between them in the previous timeline, which is not part of their present history. (Chapters 1322 and 1437)
  • Evans: In the Supers Holy Land, Karlot asks Evans for a spar while searching for an environment severe enough to continue his training. (Chapter 1449)

Items

Karlot has no named personal item in the supplied inventory. Silver Shadow assists him as a living ally and transport partner during battle, not as Karlot's possession. (Chapter 1437)
