Jotina
Jotina, known as the Claw Empress, is a beast-blooded Pugilist who defects from Gorutan's organization and joins the Black Star Army. Her rebellion is driven by hatred of the Beast Ancestor's reproductive slavery, and her long development from a feared Calamity Grade officer into a Beyond Grade A remains tied to liberating the family he exploited.
Biography
Intelligent Plague and the Association
Jotina leads a wounded rebel fleet away from the Beast Ancestor organization, kills loyalist officers who obstruct the escape, and directly asks Han Xiao for admission to his army. She explains that Gorutan forced her mother into reproductive slavery until her death and makes the liberation of his captives and offspring a condition of her loyalty. After joining, Jotina helps secure those dependents and shows them an unexpectedly maternal side. She becomes a leading Calamity Grade officer, reaches the Black Star Cup final against Hadavy, and finishes second after losing through exhaustion, while her accumulated strength marks her as a credible promotion candidate. (Chapters 1063–1069, 1085, 1134–1141, and 1210)
The World Tree War
Jotina joins the Black Star Army's high-pressure cultivation program as one of its Beyond Grade A seeds and continues training for more than a decade. She successfully advances to Beyond Grade A, later takes part in the Pugilist formation fighting the World Tree, and remains active after the war. Her later scenes retain the same forceful temperament and open attraction to Han Xiao. A prior-timeline account in which Gorutan killed her does not describe the current timeline; her latest direct appearance instead shows her alive and confronting Ames. (Chapters 1365, 1401–1403, 1408, 1437, and 1442)
Appearance and personality
Jotina is a beast-blooded woman with light-brown skin, black beast-like markings beside her eyes and temples, and white cheek stripes resembling whiskers. She wears wild, revealing clothing and has a fierce, alluring bearing. Though feared for her violence and blunt desire, she is also direct, fiercely protective, and deeply opposed to slavery. Her tenderness toward rescued children contrasts with her readiness to kill loyalists and challenge powerful rivals. (Chapters 1063–1064, 1085, 1401, and 1442)
Abilities and class
Jotina begins as a high-level Calamity Grade Pugilist and later becomes a Beyond Grade A after sustained training. She specializes in powerful claw techniques and Beast Ancestor martial arts, combining strength, agility, endurance, and close-range damage without an obvious weak dimension. Her Black Star Cup run demonstrates exceptional stamina and combat skill even though Hadavy ultimately outlasts her, and her later promotion confirms that the potential attributed to her was realized. (Chapters 1063, 1069, 1134–1136, 1210, and 1403)

Items
No persistent named personal item is established for Jotina. Her claws are part of her Pugilist fighting style rather than a documented weapon, and the ships used during her defection belong to the rebel force rather than being identified as personal possessions.
