Eldest Volga Brother

The Eldest Volga Brother is the oldest and most talkative of the three unnamed Volga siblings recruited into Han Xiao's organization. A water Mage who often speaks for the family, he is distinct from the Second Volga Brother and the Youngest Volga Brother.

Biography

The Black Star Mercenary Group

The eldest brother is freed with his siblings from Floating Dragon's slave market and joins Han's departing group. He usually serves as their spokesman, explains the Tamihalatinian siblings' specialties, and helps integrate the trio into mercenary life. As one of the group's two Mages, he enchants machinery, armor, and ammunition, while his water magic also lets him treat injuries. He fights DarkStar forces, supports Sylvia, and maintains the brothers' fast coordination through their racial mind communication. (Chapters 381–506)

Mutation Disaster and the Secret War

The eldest remains an identifiable Black Star officer as the mercenary group expands into an army. He works beside Herlous, Aroshia, and his brothers, continues providing magical support, and often supplies the trio's banter during quieter headquarters scenes. His last direct appearance finds him discussing new Calamity Grade recruits while all three siblings remain alive and in service. (Chapters 508–575, 621, 653, and 690)

Appearance and personality

The brothers look nearly identical, but the eldest is distinguished by his habit of speaking first. He is talkative, opinionated, carefree, fond of wagers and card games, and confident in the siblings' combined usefulness. He becomes serious when unfamiliar magic or a teammate's safety requires attention. (Chapters 381, 416, 453–483, 653, and 690)

Abilities and class

The eldest is a Mage specializing in water magic. He can manipulate water for combat and healing and joins his second brother in placing magical effects on equipment and ammunition. Tamihalatinian eye contact allows rapid mind-to-mind communication with his siblings, making their coordinated support faster than ordinary speech. (Chapters 381, 416, 449, 464, and 478)
