Dillon

Dillon is a sharp-tongued historical Beyond Grade A revived through the Sanctums. Hostile toward the three Universal Civilizations and protective of his second life, he becomes the most vocal representative of the faction that initially refuses to fight the World Tree.

Biography

The World Tree War

Dillon rejects Han Xiao's call to defend the explored universe, arguing that revived Supers should not spend their only apparent second chance serving the governments that once persecuted them. He mocks wartime casualties, presses shaken association members to flee while Han is inside a Sanctum, and treats self-preservation as a responsibility rather than cowardice. He later dies and materializes as an Underworld Hero Spirit, where his taunting ability stops the retreating Subduing Tree King. By the postwar memorial he remains among the dead whom Han has deliberately not yet revived. (Chapters 1330, 1342, 1364, 1371, 1405, and 1447)

Information Form and the Final Relay

Chapter 1448 says that a group of Underworld Hero Spirits regain ordinary life, but the passage alternates between Dylan and Dillon while describing one speaker. Because Elf King Dylan is a separate established character elsewhere in the corpus, this wording cannot securely prove Dillon's final restoration. The last unambiguous Dillon-specific status is therefore his continued existence as a Hero Spirit awaiting revival in Chapter 1447. (Chapters 1447–1448)

Appearance and personality

No stable physical description is supplied. Dillon chews fluorescent grass, speaks bluntly, and is notorious for insulting almost everyone around him. His hostility comes partly from the loss of his former Elven Holy Land and consorts, but the corpus gives little detail about that earlier life. (Chapters 1342, 1371, and 1447)

Abilities and class

Dillon is a Beyond Grade A, but his class and ordinary combat style are not stated. As an Underworld Hero Spirit, he can materialize in battle; his taunt has a compulsory effect strong enough to interrupt a Tree King's retreat. The exact mechanism and limits are not explained. (Chapter 1405)

Relationships

• Han Xiao: Dillon distrusts Han's wartime plan and attempts to organize an escape during his absence, but later fights as one of the Underworld spirits under the broader defense effort. (Chapters 1330–1371 and 1405)
• Beiger: Beiger repeatedly challenges Dillon's harsh conclusions but is accustomed to his foul mouth. (Chapter 1342)
