Chen Xing — The Legendary Mechanic

Chen Xing is a female Psychic who survives the destruction of her original body by possessing Feidin, then builds a celebrated singing career while controlling his male body. Their struggle over that shared body changes into reconciliation and love before the Soul Swapper eventually separates their souls.

Biography

The Black Star Mercenary Group

Using Feidin's body and the stage name Morning Star, Chen Xing becomes a wealthy singer whose voice carries Psychic influence. She hires Han Xiao to complete a set of prayer-charged statues that can restore her damaged power, but he poisons their Psychic Current, defeats her, and lets Feidin regain control. Feidin reveals that Chen Xing was a dying woman he rescued; she used the dangerous Mind Possession technique to survive and had controlled him for almost five years, yet had not destroyed his consciousness. Feidin suspends the singing career and follows the mercenaries so they can suppress Chen Xing without killing her. She remains a separate mind inside him, not a male alter ego or a new name for Feidin, while the two begin the long process of reaching an agreement. (Chapters 444–456 and 506)

Mutation Disaster and the Secret War

As Feidin trains, he becomes strong enough to suppress Chen Xing without continuous Black Star Army assistance, but their relationship no longer centers on imprisonment. The conflict between them is explicitly resolved, and Han Xiao's hidden mission reaches its most complete outcome when they fall in love. Chen Xing can still perceive events through their shared senses and react independently, while Feidin remains the ordinary controller unless he lets her act. Their coexistence is therefore voluntary and intimate by this stage, rather than evidence that either consciousness has absorbed, killed, or impersonated the other. (Chapters 563, 626, and 695)

The Evolution Cube and Crimson Dynasty

Chen Xing continues sharing Feidin's body on negotiated terms. When Feidin lets her take control, his movements and manner become distinctly feminine; she can speak for herself, return the body to him, and react separately to Han Xiao's teasing. She accompanies the Black Star Guards' rise largely through Feidin rather than holding an independent office in the Army. Much later, the Soul Swapper separates their souls, and Chapter 1460 shows Feidin physically holding Chen Xing while they date. That scene confirms two living individuals in separate bodies; it is not merely a change in which personality controls their former shared body. (Chapters 736, 811, 882, and 1460)

Appearance and personality

Chen Xing's original female body is not described before its fatal injuries. During her singing career she uses Feidin's male body, whose exquisite face, attractive eyes, and gentle voice are often read as feminine under her control; those features should not be mistaken for her original appearance. She is ambitious, secretive, flirtatious, and capable of violent revenge, but her refusal to erase Feidin and their later reconciliation reveal guilt, attachment, and an ability to change. Abilities and class

Chen Xing is a Psychic who had once approached Grade A strength, but the near-fatal Mind Possession process damages her soul and leaves her at Grade B when introduced. She channels Psychic force through song, projects shields and telekinesis, and can use a destructive high note against minds. Mind Possession lets a detached consciousness occupy another body, but has a very low success rate and risks soul destruction; she also cannot possess a stronger mind. Prayer-charged statues temporarily replenish her weakened Psychic power, although contaminated Psychic Current leaves her vulnerable to Han Xiao's counterattack. Her exact strength after later receiving a separate body is not stated. (Chapters 445–454)

Relationships

Feidin: Rescues Chen Xing when her original body is dying, then loses control of his body to her. Their contest becomes peaceful coexistence, mutual understanding, and love before they are physically separated.
Han Xiao: Exposes and suppresses Chen Xing so Feidin can return, then provides the conditions in which they reconcile. She fears and resents his interference before later tolerating him as an ally and matchmaker.
Herlous and Sylvia: Witness the revelation that the celebrity they met contains two independent minds and accompany the pair during their early coexistence.
Aurora: Becomes friendly with Feidin and is especially liked by Chen Xing while the two still share one body.

Items

Chen Xing collects four religious statues containing accumulated Psychic Current and uses their stored force to recover her power. Their energy is consumed during her fight with Han Xiao, so they do not remain a persistent personal inventory in the supplied corpus.
